Honestly, I wish it was like a 30 minute special. I wish it included more of the other characters. Richard and everyone. It felt like a regular episode honestly. Literally. For the stuff I actually liked: The 4th wall breaking in this show has always been legendary, and for once, it had genuine consequences. And I like how Rob was actually trying to save them. I really hope a movie comes out, to truly say goodbye to the series. The comedy in this episode was also pretty good. And if a film does come out, maybe all of those complains I had could be tied up with a feature. That would be amazing. I will forever love and miss this show. Thank you so much for all the hours of entertainment Gumball. You’re impact on the cartoon industry will be felt forever

(Theory) I think that the creators are purposely leaving this at a cliff hanger so after a few years we kinda forget about this show and the next episode is going to be about how all the characters are in the void because people forgot about this show and now the characters are trying to escape the void and be remembered and the new season will start from there with new episodes just my theory 😗✌️

Here's all the evidence I can think of leading up to this finale: So throughout the show, there's constant breaking of the 4th wall and explicit references to how Gumball is the main character (the ep where the 80s / 90s cartoon dudes try to rope Gumball and Darwin into their overdone narrative, the ep where Tobias replaces Gumball as lead, the ep where Elmore's background characters take the lead, etc.); there's The Void itself; there's The Disaster and The Rewind, where Rob tells Gumball he's ignorant about his "Amazing World" and that none of it's "real"; as Gumball falls down into the void we see the credits go up on the other side of it; also the whole premise of those episodes is that Gumball's world can literally be controlled with a remote; there's The Vegging, where someone from the future sends a message about "the things that happened today happened for a reason and it was all the work of..." there's The Future, where Rob tries to explain that disaster is coming; and there's The Inquisition, where Rob tries to explain that their only chance of survival is by transforming to escape to "the other place" before their own world falls apart; In conclusion there's so much good setup for the idea that Rob knows they're in a TV show, he knows that it's ending, and he wants them to escape to the real world (our world) where life continues after the show ends outside the boundaries of the show. It LITERALLY ends on a cliffhanger - I think that play on words is that last thing that makes me believe 100% that they're gonna give us a proper ending eventually. I actually just got into this show about 2 months after it ended, in August, and I just finished it now in October. So I'm a little concerned that a movie hasn't been confirmed, but I'm still hopeful y'all.

A movie to end this can come at anytime, a movie ending the cartoon called "The Invader Zim" had a movie a couple of days ago. If I'm correct, the movie was released over 10 years after the show was finished. It's just a matter of time for the movie, and it will be the best movie ever...

The thing I like is that it isn’t a happy ending, everything just ends without all the loose ends tied together.

TAWoG has done it, they took 4th wall breaking to a whole new different level of its own. If a movie is coming I AM HYPED

hmm, I mean I think the transformation mightve been temporary just in order to escape that world

I’ve seen the episode and it was shocking that rob was turning Elmore junior high into real people but was actually trying to safe them from the disaster that was about to begin.i know Gumball is not over after Rob fell into the gap and we need a proper ending to the show.but will Elmore survive or will it come to a end.but for a fact I know that we won’t see Rob ever again in the series and a movie would be great to wrap up the show and I think if they have a movie,it better have a great ending to wrap it all up but I hope we see more episodes in the future.it would be a shame if the show ended and the show needs a good ending.great show by the way and I hope everyone will agree with me.

I’ve literally been watching amazing world of gum ball since I was 2. I’m sad it’s ending. The old seasons still remind me of my great grandparents.

I'm here six months later is this really the final episode

It looked like everyone got sucked into the void. Whiiichhh makes me really sad right now. It's also disturbing to think about how Rob's plan was to bring them out of their world. Mainly because sometimes 4th wall breaking has its chilling sides. But yeah, they're all either in the void forever, or hopefully an upcoming movie will free them from it. But from the painting you showed us, there might still be hope. That painting was either a sign of the Wattersons and Elmore's impending doom, or a sign that it isn't over.

We had the good shows of our childhood, the Cartoon Network Renaissance, but now we must move on into adulthood, or teenhood, with the new shows and shows still continuing. We had an Amazing childhood, but nothing lasts forever. TAWOG had a good run, it will be missed.

well, all good things must end so.

Where I live gumball is still on air and it just repeated this season on loop. I didn't know it was ending until I saw a KZread video about it. Gumball has been played just as much as teen titans go so when I was younger it didn't seem all that great. Looking back, I have noticed so much that I didn't notice when I first watched it
