Nice work. I think I would have made the scarf joints longer. Possibly over two wing bays in length to extend the glue surface length.

Maybe apply carbon fiber to the sides of the s p a r. Not to the top and bottom of the s p a r as that would disturb the airfoil. Good Luck!

I'm not at all sure about the hidden dihedral brace - maybe I should have cut back into the centre section and made a longer brace. But I didn't, so ... when this flies, it'll be gentle gliding only, no looping or seeing how fast it can go!

I tried this with the same model few months back. It did not work well, as the wing broke midair at the same position I glued. It can be done, but in my opinion its best to build brand new section of the wing instead of just trying to glue broken ribs.

I suspect that's what will happen when we try to fly this. Definitely not a good design structurally. Might get some interesting video footage though!

@@horipet Agreed. Design might be a lot better/stronger, but still I gotta say a beautiful model to fly. Better for soaring, motor should be used just for take off.
