It always makes me feel really sad and melancholic when I see dogs in old cine film. Not sure why specifically. Think it may be because they have long gone and probably long forgotten. People get much more of a send of and are remembered more than our beloved pets. Is this one of your films? Beautiful black and white dog

Hello Stephen. What a wonderful film … and the cassette recording noise only adds to it for me. I was in Leeds in Oct 1988 - what a shame I missed this. I’ve already made one video about Le Prince (Roundhay Garden Scene) for my channel. I am now working on a second video about the Leeds Bridge Scene. I wonder if you would allow me to use some of the photos and footage from your brilliant video? It certainly is a unique and irreplaceable record of that day in 1998. Hope you don’t mind my asking. Tez 😊

Very nice. I recently purcharsed what seems to be a Butcher's educational projector. It may be an older model than this as there are fittings for takeup/rewind arms on the body of the projector. Perhaps I'll end up modifying it for Kinemacolor one day.

Hi Stephen, I own a Devry 35mm portable projector whose motor has broken down. I suspect that the motor is beyond repair as the housing is cracked and disintegrating. Do you know where I could buy another motor or where I could find a replacement. Here in Belgium it is almost impossible to find a Devry motor but maybe another motor is an option. Greetings, Bart.
