Indias fav sweet for all festivals
Gulab Jamun
INGREDIENTS:
Milk khoya - 250gms
All - purpose flour - 50 gms
Cooking soda - ½ tsp
Sugar - 2 cup
Water - 1 cup
Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
Lemon juice - 1 no.
Oil - For Deep fry
DIRECTIONS:
Heat a pan, add sugar & water and boil it and make the sugar syrup string till it comes to one string consistency and add cardamom powder, lemon juice mix it well.
Take milk khoya, add all-purpose flour, cooking soda mix it well and make into a soft dough and make into small balls.
Deep fry in medium hot oil till they turn golden brown color. Soak into the sugar syrup it for 20 minutes.
Now delicious tasty gulab jamun is ready to serve.

Hi today I made gulab Jamun ,it really came out well without crack and soft but sweetness increased. What to do to reduce the sweetness.

How Many Gulab Jamuns Taken From 250gm Kova? chef
Vahchef, I used to make gulabjamun with readymade mix very well without soda prepared well. But 1st time made with khowa and added baking powder .when I put them in oil layers layers vachesi oil anta black.whole thing spoiled.what went wrong I don't understand.

He used khoya/mawa... We can substitute it with milk powder if khoya is not available...
Gulab jamun reminds me of the advertisement where a kid says he came 2nd in the race and gets rewarded with Gulab jamun by his mom... But later his father finds our that there are only 2 people in the race 😂. Savage🤘.
