@@rexjamerson9316 They are extremely different players. Both extremely talented. I would not agree with the idea that Luis is superior especially when you take into account this kids' musicality. If he was just playing things that were really hard then I would say they are in the same league, but instead, Marcin plays actual songs instead of just technically challenging things.

Marcin Patrzałek (born October 6, 2000 in Kielce, Poland) Polish is a fingerstyle guitarist, composer and producer. He began playing classical guitar at the age of 10, under the direction of Jerzy Pikor, a teacher from Kielce. Two years later, he began learning flamenco techniques with Spanish guitarist Carlos Pinana. In 2015, he won the ninth edition of the Must Be the Music program. Only music, and in 2016 he released his debut album entitled Hush. In the same year he became a finalist of the International Fingerstyle Guitar Master Competition, and the following year he won first prize at the Joaquín Rodrigo International Classical Guitar Competition. In 2018, he won the fifth edition of the Italian program Tu Si Que Vales. On November 12, 2018, he released an EP entitled revAMP, containing his most popular arrangements. Previously, he released his own single "Baba Yaga". In 2019, he entered the 14th edition of America's Got Talent, in which he reached the semi-finals. In 2020, he signed a contract with Sony Music. 17 year old Marcin arranged & performed "Master of Puppets" by Metallica. Marcin uses the innovative technique of "percussion fingerstyle", which is why he chose the flagship Ibanez AE900-NT guitar from the AE and Thermo Aged™ AVD80-NT series equipped with a K&K Trinity Pro pickup, which allows him to combine extensive percussion elements with standard guitar playing. There is 'Acoustic VS Electric' and 'Just the Two of Us'. Amazing guitar work from both of them and they compliment each other nicely. And his name is "Mar-cheen". Not to mention, a great opportunity to spread the word about new artists and also rekindle interest in older/classic tracks with a potential new generation of listeners. The things Marcin does with the guitar are pretty amazing. You should hear Marcin, Jon Gomm, Mike Dawes, Petteri Sariola, Kent Nishimura and Luca Stricagnoli, playing live. They have pedalbords with effects galore and can reproduce their studio recordings live. For example, the bass is produced by a boss octaver pedal, were you can define the frequency range for the effect. This way adding it to just one or two strings. Here is Marcin, playing Kashmir without effects and pedalboard: kzread.info/dash/bejne/eYx42LiFmtWzlLA.html The special Fishman Rare Earth Mic Blend Tap (with an added piezo) has separate outputs for all three pickups (magnetic, microphone and piezo), feeding only the magnetic pickup into the effectsboard. Not the same. I checked out Tommy and he can only do some of what Marcin can do. Tommy can make it sound like he's playing two guitars at once. When Marcin plays, he can make it sound like he's playing two guitars, bass, and drums, all at the same time, all on one guitar. Also, the fact that Marcin has only been playing for 10 years and can do what he does, is more impressive. You also might be tempted to think that if it's only been 10 years and he's this good, he must be practicing 8-10 hours per day, but he's not. He says 4 hours maximum. He simply focuses on whatever he is weakest in for a couple hours per day and no matter how good he gets, there is always the next thing that he is weakest in. Practicing this way he never reaches a level where he just stays at, that is good enough, but rather always finds the next rung up a ladder and just keeps climbing. Given how young he is, there is no telling how far he can take this in the next 10 years.

For me? Words like Best, Greatest and even Better? Have no place when describing music or musicians, In fact using them is nonsensical. Of curse Everyone is entitled to and can have their own opinion and favorites for sure. But to Declare unilaterally with an absolute. That this one; or that one is the greatest ever? is just Clown Shoe and Lame. .. Just Say'n.

I don't see how anyone can find this boring. I suppose if he reached a certain level and just stayed there, we would eventually get bored watching him, but he doesn't settle. He's always experimenting and climbing higher. He's only been playing for 10 years when he made Kashmir. Who knows how far he can take this in the next 10 years. He's paving the way for a new generation of guitarists. It's exciting to watch.

Pozdrawiam z Polski.
