Damn how may times did I say "Ireland" in the intro? Also the clean tone on the James Tyler is 🤯

Right? It sounded like it was DI into the camera, or was using active elecronics, or something. Gotta love the groovy green with tortoiseshell pickguard too. The font on the headstock did give me a bit of epilepsy for a moment, but it's certainly distinct. Great vid, as ever. Keep them coming. Cheers from FL, USA. P.S. The Bacchus was intriguing as well. I love electrics with a naturally loud, acoustic sound to them. Most good, Fendery guitars seem to have that property about them and I like that they're using deadfall timber too.

My local music store has scammed me so many times so no thank you. Bought a neck from the owner, who hand makes them, it’s twisted, and he won’t replace. On top of that, when I bought a neck before the twisted one, I bought the neck for 90$ and asked if he would hold onto it for a few days because I didn’t want it getting dinged up in my shop while I finished the body I was building, came back maybe five days later, and he brought out a different neck, saying that the cheap squire neck is the neck I bought, instead of the nicer neck I actually purchased. Had to threaten to report to the BBB to get the neck I already paid for five days earlier, instead of the cheap squire neck.

Awesome, this is the content im here for. Love this:)
Hail to the Irish people! In 2016 thousands of irish football supporters came to my hometown in France, though I nowdays hate football (well, soccer if you prefer), I had great time with those fellows, always singing (in tune!) and being very nice. Great folks! greetings from France, cheers!
I like the Bachhus'. It sounds great plus the ecological story behind saving an otherwise "unusable" tone wood as the top give it a different look while maintaining a gr8 sound. Thumbs up. Nice shop!
Imagine if the video ended with April fools & the whole time he was guitar shopping he was in Slough 🤣
Fantastic to see Irish guitar stores getting representation! That James Tyler sounded gorgeous, haven't heard of them before this.
For what it's worth, if I were in Ireland there is zero question this would have gotten me to that store! Love this... puts that going to the guitar shop feel right up front. Thanks.
Great to see a knowledgeable, enthusiastic bunch running a cool shop. Nice video :)
Dude that guitar store is beyond anything I've ever been to. The selection was bananas 🍌 Having private rooms to test gear is cool too. Definitely wanna see more of this. Subscribed Really like your playing too man, you're awesome on the axe 🪓
Im in Ireland too - went to a local Limerick music store looking for a Squire Jaguar (knowing it would be E100 more than Thomann) and was told if I ordered then and there that they couldn't guarantee a delivery date. I was shown the order book and some Fender customers were waiting 18 months and counting... Really feel for the local stores in these trying times but I ended up a month later getting my Jaguar from Thomann E100 cheaper. *eeek*
Great idea for a series and very cool tour of this shop!
As an Irish guitarist myself, i've been to quite a few music shops in Ireland. Unfortunately, I have not had a great experience in most of them. But one of the best places i've dealt with is Beat It Music in Louth. Great guys in there and they have some very interesting guitars. Check them out if your ever in the area.

Hey Daniel ... I've found Music Maker in Dublin great to deal with .. bought 3 guitars and a few other bits off them over the last couple of years , I always deal with a guy called Nigel .. got some great deals and always had a good laugh .. and this was all online .. looking forward to checking out the shop at some stage .. hope KDH visits that store . But I hear what your saying .. there was one shop I wont mention the name .. but it was like he was doing me a favour selling me a guitar .. the deal didn't happen in the end .. he fucked it up .. & I got the same guitar for 500 cheaper in Holland .. I'll always try buy in Ireland first but It does pay to shop around and haggle .. :)

Great video KDH. And great playing as usual sir! Keep em coming.
The store has its own testing room...cool, never seen that before.
This is great. Something we wouldn't get to see otherwise. Thanks.

That is an amazing guitar store!!! It never gets old walking into a great guitar shop anywhere....lol.😎👍❤️🎸
Thanks for this. I've never been into Everest Music but passed it many times, now I know what it's like and will take a trip down there at some point.
James Tyler just like “Let’s make the best playing, most ghastly looking guitar we can”
DENIM AND LEATHER!!!!!! Don't think I've EVER heard another tuber play that!! Kudos for that!!
Really enjoyed the sound of the Bacchus...such an open and unique sounding guitar.
Not living in Ireland anymore I really enjoyed this and look forward to future videos like this. Really cool 👏
Nice to see how excited those guys at your local guitar shop were!
From Ireland myself. Living in Toronto now, but go back every year or so. This summer I'd love to check out some of the locally made guitars and shops. Amazing selection, as good or better than any Canadian stores. That Bacchus is sick! Thanks for this👍
It hurts being a lefty and seeing such amazing guitars... Still though it's nice to window shop I guess. Great vid man, showcasing music shops for us Irish and getting the word out, can't wait to see more 🤘

Nice to hear you play. Beauty guitars there.
I just discovered your channel, and I'm binging my way through all your videos. Mad to hear them selling Bacchus guitars. I bought one maybe 16 years ago, a g-player SSS with a blend pot. Incredible guitars, and really unknown back then. I might have to pop out to Bray to have a good look around Everest, Incredible shop and amazing knowledge from the staff.

Great video. The salesbloke was quite knowledgeable and forthcoming. One that I would enjoy talking to.

Awesome content, would love to see more vids like this. I love hanging around guitar stores and this is like the ultimate guitar voyeurism. Also, that Bacchus guitar is so cool. Love that it's making use of an underappreciated material, and it looks and sounds awesome. If they had one at my local store I'd be sorely tempted.

@@kmatax9237 From what I can find, that guitar is actually more in the 1600~ USD range. And you say that kinda like its a bad thing to spend money on a handmade guitar with a fairly unique pickup scheme. Especially with the relicing, that stuff takes time even if its not what I really want in my guitars. And it also seems to play really well and I have played a few guitars of that price and a bit less that have been absolutely terrible. Its also using a different wood choice for a good reason. I think its wayyyy more worth it than, say, a fender custom shop that would probably be....just a lot more for the same specs. And honestly, I think I'd rather spend a bit more on this than a mexican fender or something else, just because this seems a bit closer to what I've enjoy anyways.

Just got back from a 10 day 6 city road trip in Ireland. Spent St Patrick’s day in Limerick at Bobby Byrnes. Then went to Savins Music Centre. It’s a 3 level store. Great little store. Then in Dublin went to Some Neck Guitars, super vintage gear. Loved the trip. Driving wasn’t too much trouble. Only hit 3 curbs. BTW we’re from Texas.

I can't even begin to fathom how much more guitars cost in Ireland than in Canada. After moving to Ireland in the early 90's, I had to look into buying a new hard case for my 1991 PRS Custom 24 after it was damaged by baggage handlers, I noticed the shop in Dublin had the exact same year/model as mine. Out of curiosity, I asked how much it was going for, but when they told me it was 3,500 IRP, I was stunned! When I bought my PRS in Canada, it cost $2,984.25 including 7% provincial sales tax and 6% GST (Goods & Services Tax, our equivalent of VAT). At that time, the Irish punt was worth about $2.25 Canadian, so their price was over two and a half times what I paid in Canada! I haven't the faintest idea how you stand for that!😲
Perfect Timing…….👍
