Another good video. I want to do a "caramel syrup" burst edge using ColorTone dyes. Can you recommend a starting mix that I could begin with my practice piece?

Coming back to this video, how did you get the Pigments shipped overseas? To me both MadInter and Stewmac won't ship this over air.

can you mix that particular pigment with polyurethane clear? or regular blender?

Yes most definitely. Thats exactly what I did in the video I uploaded yesterday

stain looks so much better mixed in the clear ..i like much better than the water based stain that looks fuzzy and blotchy..

It looks like you're getting your pigments/stains from stewmac. Where are you getting your lacquers? Seems a bit hard to find in Oz these days.

Thanks for the heads up. Looks like there's a couple of distributors around my way which is good. That's the thing about stewmac, you can get toners and flakes but nothing else paint wise because of shipping laws to Oz! Have you tried mixing toner flakes in it or do you just use the bottled toners?

Soon mate. I have students in most weeks now for my build courses so finding time to film builds is hard. I do have some plans though so my channel should be more active again

the liquid stain is a natural colour. the other is like plastic colour. isn't bad, but i really like the natural
