Unrestrained chaos. One of the hardest career songs in the series by my metrics, easily in the top 10 all time. Short, but what it lacks in length it makes up for in crushing difficulty, especially early on. It's a meat grinder to try and FC.

down strum and sliding your fingers up and down on the fret (like you play it on a real guitar) are how i dealt with the most challenging bits of this song. super rhythmical piece, so i understand why some people think it's hard. went from gh3 to gh2 and missed two notes on my blind playthrough of this one.

This is the one song that prevents me and my brother on hard from completing the career mode any further ugh the strumming is a pain

my favorite song to play on guitar hero ever. It's just too much fun to play

these fretting hand patterns, especially the one at 0:38, are burned into my brain like nothing else from this game

For misirlou the only thing you can do is practice it at slower speed until your brain get used to it... and then increase speed you know, GH is a game where u have to dedicate a lot of time constantly

I’m no FC machine here, especially since I switched to real guitars 5 years ago. Nevertheless, I found my greatest success in finding a way to play the chords whilst minimising your distance travelled with your fretting hand; in my case, I literally slide my hand up and down in the chorus bit of this song, for example. Takes a bit of practise, but it works fairly well for someone like me who is too lazy to develop proper playing technique. As for your picking hand, I loosen up and just play it with my palm in fast sections. However, I must stress again that I’m not a professional. It’s just something that works for me.

Since you're the most knowledgeable person I know about the console GH games, was anyone ever able to perform the "Psychobilly whammy" and insert it into their FC run on Expert? From my memory, you said that someone was able to do it on the lower difficulties.

Especially if you are using the console controller, if I beat that with the console controller my hands are dead.
