Yeah this was when I gave up. I believe I beat EVERY song except this one on Expert. The problem is that it's such a HUGE jump in difficulty, even beating every other song on expert doesn't really help much. Also didn't find it very fun or rewarding to keep practicing every individual segment for hours. Didn't feel bad leaving this one song not beaten.

I got it ONCE on Expert Mode. It was grueling dude (or dudette). Still. What an accomplishment. I got so good at that game that I 40% Black Winter Night on a hacked PS2 on my first try when I met my (at the time) new friends in 2007.

1:49 you gotta hold on as long as possible they deploy star power as late as you can. Before solo f get as much star power as possible again for the last part of the solo if that's trouble too. Solo f is all scrolling

i spent countless tries just trying to pass this song on expert back in the day and never could pull it off. i could pass through the fire and flames on guitar hero three but never got this one down. me and a friend once passed shout at the devil on expert with are toes cause we were bored lol. i hit the notes while he strummed the string thing or whatever its called i forget. the things you do when ur 12 super bored and all jacked up on mountain dew lol. the good ol days

Possibly harder than the final part of the "solo" in "Black Widow of La Porte" only because tap notes haven't been idealized yet

Incase any idiots think this is fake, bots can not activate star power, they cannot use the whammy bar, they only hold down the necessary button unlike this guy did in the beginning of the video, and when using a bot, the score resets every four seconds.

I know that this is 4 years ago but GH2 bots don't hold down buttons they just tap the buttons. The strikeline is always black.

@Tylenol PM this is true/used to be. I wouldn't be able to play like that at all....however on clone hero Theres versions where the flames dont come out either and I don't see how the players can deal with that. Itd funk up the mojo imo n make me feel like I missed. Also. Their is a bot called helgabot that legit does all of the above....perfect, star power and even whammybar to gain more.

This is harder than Through the Fire and Flames.

@@Somerandomperson-hl1kt Yeah, that happens naturally, a lot of Guitar Hero is pattern memorisation. Play the sing enough times and you don't even need to look at the screen to know what's coming up. Play it some more and you can play songs literally blindfolded. I never quite got to that point, but there were a lot of songs I could play while barely paying attention to the screen.

great job, the feeling of finally getting this fc is the highlight of my gh days, enjoy it

the reason why this is probably the hardest song in the guitar hero series is because of the insanely tiny space in which you can hit notes

10 years ago means you know this was legit done on the old gh2 engine which was VERY strict. This is tougher than 99% of clone hero FC's

what I always found funny about this song is its just some random song stuck in the middle of all the bonus tracks. like imagine your first playthrough, coasting through all the bonus songs, you play this song and think its pretty easy, and then hit the hardest solo in all of GH2 with literally 0 indication the song was that hard lol. you fail and just sit in awe like, wtf just happened
