So much so that Luke would stop playing and look over at Morse to see what he was doing on the fretboard! Morse's tone sounded so much better than Luke's because Morse had passive pickups going through an Engl amp that just made Luke's EMG loaded guitar and Marshall amp sound like he wasn't in the same league as Morse. Whatever! You WILL BELIEVE at some point... and you'll remember I said that. Get to know your creator, my friend. @@4GuitarTrance There is proof in DNA, any proof in GOD?
@4GuitarTrance
5 жыл бұрын
@@dannymcmince There is plenty of proof... he shows himself clearly if people truly want to see that proof. One thing I've learned about people through the years... they have an uncanny ability to see truth, look truth and fact straight in the face, but completely ignore it if it makes them "feel" uncomfortable in some form or another. As time goes on, more and more people think with their "feelings" instead of their brains and instincts and what they know to be true or what they strongly sense to be true. "There are two things in life that are infinite: the universe, and human stupidity. And I'm not exactly sure of the former!" -- Albert Einstein "Oh man, I don't like that because it doesn't make me "feel" good... therefore I will try my best to make myself "feel" better about it by make-believing it doesn't exists. It's the reason controlling, power-hungry politicians are able to fool people into voting for them and their government programs at working taxpayer's expense -- by promising to "take care of them" -- and the reason for most of the world's problems and tragedies... many of which could have been prevented if people had not stuck their heads in holes because the truth didn't "feel" good to them. God is real, my friend. I didn't believe at one time. I found out, thankfully, just how real and caring he truly is. You really want to know how real God is... I mean REALLY know? Get by yourself some time, without any chance of being interrupted, and seriously ask God to reveal to you if he is real. Even if you do not believe. Just tell him you don't really believe -- or rather tell him you've tried to convince yourself he doesn't exist ;-) -- you can even ask him to humor your unbelief. But ask sincerely to give you some kind of undeniable sign of his existence... and if your "curiosity" is sincere he will definitely let you know just how real he truly is. If you REALLY want to know if he's real or not, try it. If you wish to walk around guided by your "feelings" the rest of your life however, you can do that too. God is a gentleman, so-to-speak... he will never infringe on the free will and free choice he gave each of us when he created the known universe... you and I included. I know... it all sounds so unreal and extreme to think some all-powerful, "supreme being" created everything we know in our existence. Even the media have done all in their power to make people think a belief in God is silly and some nonsensical crutch some use to make themselves feel better because they supposedly cannot handle life on their own. But you asked of "Proof in God". I'm letting you know there is proof beyond your wildest dreams and imagination IF you truly want to know the answer to that age old question. Ask, and if you're sincere, the answer will be given you. Knock, and that door of truth will be opened for you. Make sure you really wish to know however... once you're convinced of the truth you are forever responsible for how you deal with that reality... there will be no more excuses for your rejection of your creator and the Father of all creation should you choose to ignore his proof of existence to you.

@@HughJassKoda Wow great! Must have been Awesome show! I miss Steve Dueling with Violinists; Mark O'Connor Dregs, Robby Steinhardt, Dave Ragsdale in Kansas. I love The demanding prog rock music, that showcases his incredible talent!!
Sterling Ball - good sign when a corporate leader is also able to at least comment about the playability if not tone of their own product.
Steve Lukather keeping the black hair dye industry alive and kicking.

Amazing
Luke your the man!!
Steve, my Dad played his Les Paul, when he came home from delivering mail......OK, yes, he fought at Gualdalcanal, So. Pacific, and the Korean Conflict.....when he put his guitar down, he sat at the piano, and played Honky-Tonk.....my sons are musicians, firstborn is a percussionist, my second born plays all guitar, stand-up base, but the best is his banjo........self-taught......Irish blood......
Yeah, Lenny Breau! Thanks Steve Morse for mentioning the departed great one!
It's like Mr Morse said Listen to the late great Lenny Breau play bluesette it is a masterpiece of harmony and phrasing lucky me saw Lenny dozens of times playing in Toronto a humble genius

Just MAGIC.
I like Morse .Sometimes less is more .Thats not to say Luke isn’t a virtuoso, because he is . If you get the chance check out the tv special version he did on his 59” burst Les Paul . It’s Perfection.
Great bass solo!
No words when they play " Little Wing". My 40 year insperation. Steve and Steve.

Chad H - Your welcome. The real thanks should go to whoever it was I got the video from years back but I don’t know who that was
I attended one of his workshops at Guitar Ctr./ Rockville. Best learning experience I've ever had, guitar-wise!
2 GOAT(s)
so much talent, amazing!!
Two phenomenal guitarists far better than I could ever hope to be. With that said, neither solo compared to the emotion of Jimi’s solo. That’s why Jimi will be remembered forever.

Or Hiram Bullock's solo on Sting's version.
A story about Steve Morris and what a Class Act he truly is as a person not just as a musician he was doing a class out on the street but Downtown Augusta and I had made an assumption that was rather ignorant and instead of embarrassing me he took the Dale Carnegie approach allowed me to save face a little bit this is one of the coolest people you'll ever meet and one of the most fantastic musicians I've ever had the privilege to witness
Wooow he is sooo amazing!!!❤❤❤👏👏👏👏
Well done rhythm section played great under the pump of these two guitar legends.... So So hard to emulate the swing of Mitch Mitchell
"Like Brittany Spears tour without pro tools sounds like an inmates first night in prison" HA HA HA! Classic Luke!

Steve Lukather !!!!! Uoooooowwww Luke !!!
Man. Morse is unique.
What Steve Morse was doing there with the slide harmonics; reminds me of Early Fleetwood Mac!
Freaking Steve Morse! Wow.
60 seconds in and Steve is bored and reverts to non-stop practicing as always. LOL
Excellent performances
Hey!!! Why isn't there any mention of ~ Larry Carlton's ~ main-man on the drums here ,, John Ferraro~!~ Please edit your info section to list him!!!!! Thanks!!!!
This SO FUCKING GOOD
There all great but when I first started buying guitar magazine and I would see Steve stuff I would point at his picture and say to self this is the man the best of the best Imo he started modern stuff he is the real deal...Rolan
I remember a long time ago, i heard a song with Dixie Dregs on the radio. I think it was from the album 'Industrial Standard'. I thought, wow is it really possible to play like that...
I love Luke, but it's fascinating watching Steve Morse's reaction whilst Luke is talking. Steve Morse has light shining through him... he's the shining light here. The friendly educator.

Whatever! You WILL BELIEVE at some point... and you'll remember I said that. Get to know your creator, my friend. You don't really think we actually evolved from some pond of protoplasmic goo or a single cell amoeba do you? Search yourself... you know the truth. It's embedded into our DNA. Otherwise you're only lying to yourself... ... for what it's worth!!!

@@4GuitarTrance There is proof in DNA, any proof in GOD?
@4GuitarTrance
