2 of the five greats named Steve, Howe, Vai, Hackett, Morse & Luke, I’m sure there’s a few more since it seems like GOD Bestowed the talent on many Steve’s.

A story about Steve Morris and what a Class Act he truly is as a person not just as a musician he was doing a class out on the street but Downtown Augusta and I had made an assumption that was rather ignorant and instead of embarrassing me he took the Dale Carnegie approach allowed me to save face a little bit this is one of the coolest people you'll ever meet and one of the most fantastic musicians I've ever had the privilege to witness

Amazing how Steve overcame his tendon problems, it sounds like he never had them. And the FIRE in his playing! After years of Purple, he's free to play his own stuff again, and he's clearly relishing it. As are we, right, folks?

When you try to combine 'shredding' with melodic or blues oriented playing, its like combining motor oil with salad dressing: sonically, aesthetically, it sucks.

Hey brethren guitar instrumentalists.. i have hung out with both these Cats on their dress rehearsals..also Sir Eric Johnson & Jeff Belou and the amazing Jeffrey Healey & George Benson and would you believe that most everyone on this list is both amazingly interesting & talented but most of all they are very humble & kind..all except for Luke!! He's aggressive & highly competitive as he gets older & grouchier and absolutely expect to be #1 against anyone playing guitar and foundout from his lead vocalist of Toto Sir Bobby K. that he cant stand Neal Schon!! Yes, i agree as much as i have always loved both Lukather & Schons amazing explosive guitar performances "on the fly"...both are known egomaniacs and extremely moody & tempemenatal to deal with No matter what the gig situation!!?

Amazing musicians can’t take that away from them but zero discipline in the song it’s all over the place notes flying around ,, wat can I say disappointed in that version when you play a song ,,,like that you Gotta be disciplined and play it for the song and not for your ego to show off your licks ,,, we know who u are & we know wat ur capable ,, Respecting the song and it’s heritage is the most important thing you do in music 😊 anyway on that note Rock on 🙏😎
