The fact Thiago Silva came out talking about what Chelsea needs to do qnd what their strategy should be tells you all you need to know. When has it ever been the place of players to speak on the plans of the club? It shows that they don't trust or have confidence in what Chelsea are doing and that is bad. This will elad to players at Chelsea running yhe show and doing ehat they think is right and they won't listen to the board or management.

If the rumors are true, they’ve already been going behind the managers back (Potter). Lampard is a caretaker so Boehly coming in and giving it to them real in the dressing room should be a wake up call. Seems to have woke them up today because, yes they didn’t score, but that’s the hardest I’ve seen them play in a long time.

3 managers in one season, it's the players fault. Lack of attitude. But Boehly screwed up by buying all these players to long contracts only for the next manager to either bench them or sell them at a loss and being stuck paying those wages for years to come.

At least he’s calling them out. Seasons over anyways, lets focus on building the team up for next season with a new head coach ASAP.

I doubt it will create positive reaction. If I was a professional player; why would I be motivated by some rich dude who never played professional/organized ball telling us off? There are lot of teams that can sign checks.

Good ‘ol boy thought it was like the NBA. More than ever football is a complex chess match these days. I can predict that the Abramovich curse will remain for a while. You can’t have a winning team without strong and stable executive management (go ask Bayern, Man City and Real Madrid). Better yet, look at how AC Milan had to rebuild itself bit by bit over the last decade.

Apparently Todd Boehly is trying to sign Ted Lasso to replace Lampard after watching that documentary on Apple TV.

He is paying their salary? He atleast should be able to tell them that they are getting payed a huge amount of money so maybe they should start waking up. Owners are businessmen, thats just how it is.
