    Not only that but he’s a savvy businessman as we have already seen with sales inside his financial group. Him and many other investors formed the team that invested in Chelsea, BlueCo. All investors in that group if my understanding is correct have the ability to maneuver about and use their money collectively. Ya times have been tough these last 2 years, but I honestly think in a few years with sponsors (rumors to be moving to Jordan) we Chelsea can be atop the game again! Like he said businesses are starting to see now’s the time to buy in, and with that comes boatloads of money to be used and shares amongst the investors and the team as a whole. I’m excited for the future, and like you said he seems to have a good understanding and comfortableness about the future

    Time merchants need to give time not only to the manager, but also to the directors and the custodians. Be fair with it. I personally think there was not too much wrong with the past model. It needed a tweaking, not a full scale revolution. We've lost our identity of 'winning' now and it's not always easy to get that back(Arsenal, Liverpool, United etc. all have struggled getting it back past couple of decades). Anyway, the changes are done. Things could still come good but we made it unnecessarily hard for no reason. Consistent top 4 without winning was seen as a failure once, but it's somehow seen as a massive success now. Standards have dropped. We're entering the 3rd season under the new regime, we need to be back up competing and actually winning (like major domestic and European trophies).

  • @curtarnolds

    @curtarnolds

    The previous regime was running a consistent loss. This regime cannot afford to do that. So they really know what they are doing. They will make money and pay the players less, while the players would end up making their money through sponsorships

    @@curtarnolds FFP has been here since 2015, was in plans since 2009. Fans have been gaslighted into thinking it is new. How Chelsea were ran was okay. Won a trophy every other season, that's consistency. Roman was a football fan, the new group are private equity. Not beneficial for the club if the made money goes into their pockets instead of the club.

  • @curtarnolds

    @@hnaku8748 what are you talking about? Roman was consistently financing the club with his own money so we running at a loss. Clearlake is people's money, you can't just waste it cos you're winning trophies. We were one of the few clubs who were being run that way. Man Utd spends but they get more than enough as revenue. We didn't have that

  • @hnaku8748

    @hnaku8748

    @@curtarnolds FFP does allow certain limit of financing from the custodians, it's not against the rules. I don't think you've understood. UEFA one has a 3 year accounting period, which came into effect since 2015. If we were not run within limits then we would have already been charged couple of times. But we haven't been. P&S rules are more lenient. We were fine by all means. We're still comfortably top 5-6 in revenue. Revenue will decrease a bit as we're not in the UCL. We've won major things in past despite not having the highest revenue.

  • @alexalexic392

    He made so many mistakes in Chelsea from day one. Getting rid of all people of old regime at once and bringing the new one. Surely, if you don't know anything about the business that you are getting into, you give a time to learn from people who won everything, and then you bring your own people and ideas. After one month in charge of CFC, Boehly gets rid of Tuchel, bringing Potter and Chelsea season is over. The next thing he is connecting with all these bad European players agents and clubs who are exploring his wealth and inexperience in the football business, and he is massively overpaying so many average players. He spent £1 billion on players still didn't buy proper striker, Cole Palmer saved his arse. Now, he is facing points deduction unless he sells £100 million worth of players by the 30th of June 2024. Because of bad defensive signings, Poch can not fix goal leaking defence, and that is going to be his biggest challenge in the summer. Overall, Boehly put CFC 10 years backwards, and I can not see any Premiership challenge for the next 5 years..

Saul, was a loan, that doesn’t matter. Lukaku didn’t work out under Tuchel. But we had Kante, Rudiger, Kovavic, Ziyech, Havzerts, Werner, James, Chilwell, Mount - same team that won the UCL.
