Great video. No senseless chattering. Nice and simple
It's safe to say that Guild builds the best acoustic guitars on earth.
I have a Chinese Guild and they are decent, more than decent actually. One of my favorite guitars, definitely made to be played!
Nice playing!
The OM-140 in this burst would probably be my dream guitar! I hope Guild will produce it someday (soon). Till then……this D-140 is on my wishlist for sure😊
Very nice playing. I just bought one of these. Demo'd the Epiphone J-45 against it, and no comparison. This is a much nicer guitar in every way, better bass, more woody body, bell like chime and a smoother top end with less thinness. I liked the OM-120 too, especially on the mids and treble, but with that body, if you dig into the bass strings, it can break up a bit, unlike this one which just shouts out the bass loud and clear, when you ask it to.
not too crazy on price if I'm looking at the right one. a link to a dealer site would be nice in the description to say sweetwater. also I wonder if this is the first offering under yamaha? if not when does that point occur? love to see more dreads.
If you hit "more" on the notes, it'll take you to the Guild site which does have links to Sweetwater and others currently selling these. At around $800, seems like a very fair price. Would have to play one though. Love my old D35.
I want to see him strum that thing like Hank 3!!
