I have a daughter who doesn't want to talk about any of this. She clams up & I worry about it. I'm not pushy or embarrassing about it either. I bought the supplies & told her they are there & that I'm here for her. My older son is the total opposite, open& frank to a fault. Kids can be so different.

I have three girls and their dad decided on his own that once they became young ladies and had their first period, he would be the first male to take them on a date and each one of them really looked forward to that. They got all dressed up and he took each one to a different restaurant and it's now their special place to go.
