Guided Mindfulness Meditation - Go Easy on Yourself - Self-care and Self-Love (15 Minutes)

This is a new guided mindfulness meditation focused on caring for yourself and showing love for yourself - GO EASY on yourself! I'll bet you are the kind of person who takes on big challenges and puts a lot of pressure on yourself. As the saying goes, we are often our own worst critics. Meditating and being mindful of what pressures cause us stress and anxiety can lead to a healthier mental state. Although it can be healthy to hold ourselves to a high standard, we don't want to work ourselves into a loss of personal well-being.
Let the dialogue and ambient music soundtrack guide you. The calm and peaceful guided meditation dialogue lasts for about 12 minutes, followed by a few minutes of ambient music to bring you back out of meditation - 15 minutes total. You really can take it EASY on yourself!

    Now take that realization and use it to help you long term help yourself . Try to see all these little things you let others deplete from you every day and how weak you feel at the end of the day and just decide NO . I deserve better . Make sure to ask yourself a few things threw out the day . Start with what do I want or need at this moment? How do I want to feel or seem at this time and in the future for my mental well being not how others see you . Why did I act the way I did and how can I change it to make me feel better about the me I am ? Realize you have been keeping the same mind set for most of your life so the feelings you feel also stay the same good or bad . They can not change until you realize that if a feeling feels scary or odd and your first thought is run . It's because it's different then the pain you have been used to your entire life or joy you have felt your entire life all depending on how you have felt about your life and for me it was endless pain and I had given up on fixing me because again it was out of my pay grade . I am my pay grade now . I see I deserve more of my time and respect and wow love then anyone else ever my pack . They have to take what's left after me but what's left is much better then it was . I have only been doing this for a super short time but it's been big for me . I hope to help others but I help me now . I hear others yell ego is bad but I did not have one until 45 so I see the difference and am not putting others first anymore especially given they gave up on me first . They do not deserve me at my best after all this work . I deserve my forgiveness because I kept trying at least I keep coming back . I am just telling my truths .

    I am right there with you. I sometimes hate myself for letting certain people into my life, that I forget it all started with the way my parents treated me and that I was truly trying my best at the time. They knew it and they took advantage of it.

    I’m so grateful for starting my journey into wellness and loving myself.This is my second week I was so blinded in religion who God really was and now my eyes are wide open.     Thank you so much for this, just what I needed. My husband was in the hospital with heart issues, I have to take care of my elderly mom and now , my daughter just had a baby and I have been helping her so she can get sleep. Anxiety and stress are very high right now.

    My bpd has me challenging myself every second of the day.. and it's exhausting.. mentally.. emotionally.. your basically a prisoner in your own mind. Punishing yourself.. don't dare to be too happy because it isn't deserved.. I love your mediations and I've been listening for a year or so. And I still struggle hard to focus.. but I keep trying because your voice is very welcoming.. soothing.. kind. Thank you for having these videos available..

    Thank you so much for sharing this. It reminds me how important it is to have self care time, even if it feels awkward and hard to do. I struggle with this a lot, as It feels strange to me to take better care of myself, even in small ways. I struggle with this because I feel guilty and don’t always think I deserve it. But while writing this I am reminded of another persons wisdom- how can I give from an empty cup? How can I freely give love to others, if I don’t first give love to myself

    I just did this - but I have no idea if I did it 'right' or if there is even a right way to do it. But its my very first time ever doing anything like this. At the end when I opened my eyes in the quiet of my living room I had to blink a number of times, as if I needed to wake up and get my brain back into gear. It was almost like I had been asleep, but I hadn't been because I was listening to the instruction. A very strange experience (but not unpleasant) - but I'll keep going.

    I am currently dealing with my anxiety as I compose the sentences in this comment. I somehow felt calm and relieved after listening to this. I meditated and took a quick break from the world.
