Does anyone else have a panic attack where you feel like you are unable to swallow, then you go like you are about to pass out and no matter how hard you try to think positive you just get worse and worse and then after it you are just emotionally and physically drained or is it just me !! It's absolutely terrifying I don't know how much I can take I feel so alone

I hope you get better as soon as possible. You are not alone. I had many terrible attacks and know they are so hard to deal with. I don't know the secret to stop a panic attack, but i know how to lower the chances of getting one. Try to sleep well at night, without using too much phone with bright lights next to sleep time. Try to eat the healthier you can. And avoid bad thoughts, bad people and bad feelings. Be close to people that you love and that live a balanced and healthy life. Don't keep hatred, anger, inside your mind. They don't hurt those who made us suffer they only hurt ourselves. And if you can't do any of these, just try to be the best version of yourself. That is always appreciated and it is enough. Most importantly, stay alive. WHEN THERE IS LIFE, THERE IS ALWAYS A CHANCE FOR CHANGE. Time passes and so much changes with it. TIME is one of the most powerful things that exist in our human life. Let's stay alive, we don't know how the future is going to be.

Thank you for this video. I just had an hour long attack. I couldn't breathe, wasn't getting enough air. Thank you for breathing with me and just passing the time with me. It helped. Panic attacks are not controllable. I heard you must embrace them to make them pass faster. I just tried, it didn't really help. It's like you're in hell for a while. Can't breathe right, stomach pain, full of fear, think you're going to die of a medical problem, nausea.... it's awful. This video got me through the end of it. Now I'm exhausted and just feel sick. This video helped me esp I’m living alone. The mind is really there to bombard you with a lot of thoughts but then you have to overcome it. Going to school right now and still practicing this breathing technique. Yes, you are alright. This is just temporary and will pass. You are more than your anxiety/panic attacks 🤍🤍🤍

I’ve never left a comment on a KZread video before but this deserves it! Tonight, I had a panic attack at home, by myself. I quickly typed “panic attack” into the search bar, looking for a quick solution. KZread pre-filled “meditation” as the first search option and I hit go - this was the first video to pop up and I’m so glad it did. I listened twice over and holy cow, the steady, repetitive nature of this video bought me right back to base level. Thank you so, so much ❤

Tried my frequency tuners, walk in s store, and finally a walk n nature so i wouldn't take out irritable feelings on family... walked into family in the store couldn't walk there, extra family was st the house couldn't tune there, went for a walk and it started raining what started the self soothing was sitting in traffic in one spot making me late to a friends for 1.5 hour... then i came in explained to family i had tried a few options to self soothe and nothing was working yet so i decided to meditate then when i picked up my phone i said well this is now a full on panic attack so maybe find a panic attack video rather than meditation 🧘‍♀️. So i found this one first time ever listening to one in the middle of an attack and in the last 2minutes or so of this video i cried for 20 seconds or more and that was it. I felt and feel relieved.... i am grateful i did my best to communicate where i was snd that this worked.... 🙏 thank you...

I got to a point where I panic so much I get super hot from my body and begin sweating. My throat feels dry and hard to swallow and my heart raises allot. I Try breathing right but since you're so panic it gets to you. I pour some water to my head and go next to a fan and started to feel relief and better and I tend to just close my eyes and sit and try to distract my mind of the attack then it slowly goes away it's an ugly feeling I hate. But my wife helps me go thru it and sometimes I feel bad for not wanting her help cause you just want to be left alone it seems like they make it worse.

Had difficulties to breath, and couldn’t breath at all when standing up, felt slightly dizzy, tingly and numb hands and got intense fear of most things. Now I have a fear of being in shortness of breath, but I recovered quickly and well (mostly cuz I was going on a fun adventure when I got the attack) Btw I’m 12 so it was pretty traumatic for me also, since most bad things that has happened in my childhood and most fears I’ve had is still in me.

I got lost as i was walking on the road, i was so far from home or my destination in the noon sun, saw druggies and dead dog and nearly got hit by car, people kept giving me the wrong directions, i walked for a good hour and a half, barely standing straight, finally a kind man gave me money to take the bus back home, I cried all the way in the bus due to all that build up anxiety about wether or not I was gonna make it home or not, what my parents would think or the people I was supposed to meet Rn I am safe home but I cant stop gasping for air and my head and feet are hurting like hell God bless that man

i am going to try this for my globus anxiety and see if it would work because i can’t eat or swallow well or for whenever i swallow the globus anxiety makes it clear that it’s there, so i would be trying this out to see if it can make it go away because i’ve had it for 4 days already and it’s getting on my nerves, it feels like i would choke or am about to choke and it makes me feel really worried and i feel like i’m about to have a panic attack

It takes time for blood pressure to go down when you get anxiety or panic. But the first thing that happens before the blood pressure goes down is emotional and mental clarity. Thats what breathing exercises do. Then in few minutes the blood pressure goes down with it. The mind gets balanced first then the blood pressure follows. It may take 20 or 40 minutes. Or 5 minutes fir the blood pressure to follow sometimes but it will follow and go down. Then mind and body is balanced. But sometimes the breathing exercises help anxiety and blood pressure very quickly fir some. It may also take 10 mins to 45 min exercises to help. Depending on the severity of the anxiety. So its different but sometimes it takes time.

another very similar version of this that i do sometimes when i'm so overwhelmed i know i will pass out: take the in breath, then another short gulp of air , then do the slow breathe out . Make noises with the breath if that helps to let you know you are in your body and bones.

Is it normal to have panic attack in waves? It happens when I’m laying in bed I can feel that I’m getting uncomfortable and start to get hot flushes and my in my head I feel like getting a rush and like fainting. My heart is racing too and I start shaking. It goes for at least and hour :-(
