A small kick stand on this would be cool,if you got stuck in the open and had to go prone at least you could have it stay up in front of you.

Versatile and gets into action long before you could shrug on a vest. Would maybe mount a magnet in the shooting notch.

Seems quite practical staged for home defense, quick deployment, can defend against bladed and blunt weapons better than a vest

In the moment of battle with possible movement needed as well, the people with the training and muscle memory to go for a pelvic shot, for the most part hopefully won’t be the type of ppl the shield would be needed for

Pelvic shots do you in with a vest, too. You could opt for a larger shield, like the ballistic riot shields the cops use... but the weight compromises movement a lot more.

…..yeah oddly enough getting shot in the face or the heart and you are done for. That’s kinda what bullets in vital areas do, now please tell us something else obviously. Like the sky is blue and how water feels wet,
