malls and corporate businesses are not really my thing... however I did go to Midtown when I was in GDL to try and buy some new clothes. it's shocking to see 1st world prices in Mexico. I will say that I enjoy the open air design of the malls here. much superior to the enclosed malls I am used to in places that have winter to contend with. as usual - fabulous images and I just wanted to reach through my screen to try that octopus!

Thank you so much 😊🙏 I know, it really is crazy when you realize mall prices to income ratio doesn’t make any sense, but luckily there are many other affordable alternatives in Mexico. We’re not doing a lot of corporate shopping here, but I like to think we’re supporting the employees as well when we do.

Wow!! I’m impressed by the luxury shopping malls in Guadalajara. I’m trying to decide between Merida and Guadalajara and it’s honestly a hard decision which city will be better for me?. 🤔😁

Uhh I’m not familiar with Merida yet, but even so I know I’d choose GDL between the two 🥰 It really depends what you’re looking for. GDL is a major urban hub with so much to do and so well connected with other areas, both within the state of Jalisco and Mexico, but also internationally 🌎✈️ If it’s a permanent move, the best way to decide is by spending some time in both places 😊
