I will be there in two weeks with my wife and friend to run a half marathon! I was born in Guadalajara but has been a long time since I visited my homeland. I live in Wyoming and I can’t wait to take a break from the cold here. Great video!

I live in GDL, it's so nice to see the perspective of tourist, sometimes I take my city for granted. But there are so many cool things to do!!! Next time go to Barranca de Huentitán (its a magical and beautiful place to hike, veeery hard and challenging but totally worth it) :)

Try going to Karnes Garibaldy and have the carnes en su jugo . They have a Guinness world record. Also try visiting Tlaquepaque for their nice art. Try the cenadurias as well.

3:20 you should have visited Guadalajra's Down Town 20 years ago, it was noisy and crowded packed with business, Taxi cabs, Buses, and thousands of tapatios purshasing things and getting entertained by street artists

I read that Jalisco has a lot of problems with cartels and it spills over into Guadalajara as well. Did you have any problems with crimes while you were there or see any evidence of it?

We saw no crimes occur, but did notice missing persons signs

@@JourneywithJenandDrew Two friends of mine just returned from there and felt they had no problems with safety. They stuck to tourist areas thinking they are probably the safest.
