I know it's 720p but still... I'm very surprised at these results.

And, and wow, it's with a 4th gen i5, too. 4c/4t. And it's running the Cyberpunk benchmark fairly smooth. Sure, the CPU is at 98% lol but it is just powering right on through it. I love seeing "older" tech perform in newer games and do well, all things considered. Kinda shows how spoiled we can be. I had a Ryzen 3600 + RX480 8GB (actually, it was an FX-8350 + RX480 8GB first) and I was "mad" at the performance I was getting out of the RX480 8GB after a couple of years. I got it at release, before the mining boom, for $250 (Asus STRIX model, other models were $220) and I just thought that card was so nice upgrading from my HD7870 2GB "ghz" edition. Which just meant... the core clock ran at 1 ghz lol. So I had an FX-8350, went from the HD4870 to an HD7850... nice upgrade. Then I broke that GPU with a screwdriver that slipped taking off the heatsink lol, and bought an HD7870. I really couldn't notice a difference with the FX-8350. So, that was definitely the limit of the FX-8350. But still, I bought an RX480 8GB later and it helped in SOME games, but only because of the extra VRAM. That old FX-8350, as much as I loved it, was just weak. Only thing it came in handy for having the 8c/8t was like Battlefield 4. And BF4 still pushed it to 80%+. So I built an R5 3600 rig. I thought it was insane how much performance I gained. Then time went on and it was starting to feel "crappy"... Now I have a 5900x + 6700XT 12GB + 2x16GB DDR4 @ 3666 C16 dual rank RAM. And here I am, sometimes still surprised at how well the 6700XT can perform, and sometimes just purely disappointed with the performance. But I just recently played The Callisto Protocol... and omg, the 6700XT 12GB does amazingly well in that game along with this 5900x. Sometimes I turn FSR 2.2 on, sometimes I just run native 1440p, but all Ultra settings. I have always ran all max settings, I can't help it. I have a fear of missing out lol. And of course, I can play all the new Call of Duty games so well with the exception of Black Ops Cold War when the Ray Traced ambient occlusion and shadows are enabled. That kills my performance and there is VERY LITTLE visual gain unless you're standing still looking for it. If ya are just gaming, you can't really tell a difference. It's not like Cyberpunk or Control and how ray tracing makes a difference. And even then, Control looks about the same in a LOT of places whether RT is on or off lol.
