At macro scale graphics seems pretty similar cause environment looked already superb in RDR 2, but small details like hair, skin textures and micro geometry its gonna be on totally different level in new GTA❤

@@raf5ay the graphical engine used by GTA VI. It is the same as on Red Dead Redemption 2, but it's updated to a newer version (9 compared to version 8 that was used on RDR2).

It's worth remembering that this is the first trailer, gta v looked better in the end than in the first trailer

It was a mix bag with gta v honestly. Comparing the final game to the first trailer some animations got cut, number of trees/foliage were lessened, smoke and fire effects wasn’t as full, lighting seemed more impressive in the trailer (this is subjective). It wasn’t an Ubisoft level downgrade since most things did improve in the final game but certain aspects definitely got downgraded from the first trailer. Red dead 2 held up better with staying consistent with the trailers

That is not true. The first gta 5 trailer has more realistic lighting/colors, better animations, better dust system, etc. The RDR2 trailers are a better example.

I hate that they’re calling the trailer all CGI cause they were able to accomplish detail in RDR2 to an insane level on last gen consoles. It’s obviously gonna look stunning on current gen like the PS5 and XSX.

Completely agree with you. And it's a shame that *"GTA 6"* for PS4 and Xbox One, seeing how amazing *"RDR2"* looks on these consoles. I know that PS5/Xbox Series S/X are the future, but there would be nothing wrong with them making a port for PS4/Xbox One as a farewell to the wait for *"GTA 6"* since these consoles came out, which still have a lot to give.

Now imagine what RDR3 would look like. Bigger and more densely populated cities and towns, more lifelike NPCs with the power of AI, and more interaction to the world overall.

I don't think RDR3 is gonna happen. RDR and their prequel is already a perfect story from start to finish. Don't really necessary to continue the story as Jack on Future or Dutch on past.

Let's remember two more important factors: 1. all Rockstar games are improving visually compared to the first trailers, and since the difference between the release of the trailer and the game will be 2 years, I think the improvements will be impressive 2. Not so much, if it is true that *"GTA 6"* improved several aspects of *"RDR2".* But the graphical jump really isn't much, and I feel like a PS4 and Xbox One could run *"GTA 6".* Only that Rockstar Games is so lazy, that they will only limit themselves to releasing it for *"PS5"* and *"Xbox Series S/X.

Comparison is not right.. You should compare rdr2 mud scene with gta-6 mud scene.

If you look closely. Things look a lot more out dated in rdr 2. Like where are the cars or planes? That was my only complaint with this game. Other than that. It’s a good game

Same I was expecting Matrix Awakens level graphics or Tlou2 looking character models. When I heard Rockstar had a 2 billion dollar budget I had really high expectations but when I saw the trailer I kind of felt disappointed as it went on. Felt so over the top that it reminded me of Saints Row. Makes me miss the old Rockstar Games when they used to innovate and make awesome stories.
