It doesn't melt the cars. It causes the tires to pop. That makes the car drop to the ground. If you set the tires/cars on fire the tires always pop in GTA V. This was not added by the modder.

We deserve a game like that tbh but if possible I'd like it to be extremely creative like make a really good witcher style fantasy world from scratch and give players a roster of well known superheroes to choose from plus the option to create their own hero. eh.... he'd be killed. his best bet is to stay far away and laser beam infrastructure, bridges, food supply lines. let society fail and starve without food. the best way to destroy a society is cut off food. without farm food everything falls apart in a matter of days and two weeks people are eating each other basically. after society has fallen apart and can't support technology move in closer. if he moves within striking distance I feel like he'd be killed pretty easily with the right tool or strategy.
