GT500 On the Lift

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Showing the engineering in Cobra Engineering's new 2022 GT500.
From under the car on the lift to under the hood to some of the cool features.
Maybe some part development to come.

I’d leave that exhaust “as-is”. Nice car my man.

I know Im pretty satisfied with my GT500 unmodified thus far. Including the exhaust note. I specifically bought this mdl car so I didn't hav to modify it. (Did so after sellin our '19 Bullitt, due to the inadequate Chinese built tranny- we loved the car overall - hated the trans in several different areas). I believed the GT500 didn't need a bunch of mods to be a good car to enjoy driving. We have both race cars & older Hot rod custom build stuff. Wanted a car that handles fantastic, vs pouring $100k+ & 2k hrs into '70 Fastback Stang to build a Retro Boss 429 that still wouldn'tgive me boththe performance and comfort the Shelby offers. We didn't pay any ADM, & infant bought it below MSRP. (Long story) Yet, this car is actually worth every penny both at, & beyond MSRP. We didn't want a carbon car either fir obvious reasons of driving it. Handling/Tech pkg, OTT stripes, & a paint code that cost extra, was our choices on the '22 Mdl. I encourage anyone who is deciding on a car in this category to look at a GT500, before you purchase any if its competition. It may or may not be the best option for your own needs, but I can't see owning anything else in a pkg above 750hp & under $85k. The suspension & brakes are fantastic. The tires really help make the brakes effective. & they're not even the Cup 2's. Nice video! Enjoy your car. Love the color! Ohh. Id leave the exhaust alone. Not cuz I know the outcome, but because its already pretty satisfying stock. As was our PP1 mag ride, Bullitt. Ford engineers did a great job on these cars.

These GT500s are very nice and capable cars from the factory, its one of those cars you buy new and drive as much as you can, but I would not intend to keep it long term. They are very complex and tight to work on, with many more parts that'll fail with time/usage compared to a Terminator/
