The cost in time and money for maintenance and fuel for many is beginning to heavily outweigh the benefits of owning a car, and when alternative transport is regularly and cheaply available, it's only an act of self sabotage to own a vehicle. Tinting is 100% an art and it really does take skill, know how, patience. Whether it seems simple or not, some scenarios may be, stuff like this though, man. It’s hard to not get the film adhesive dirty, fold it and make it stick, get the bubbles out, you really need more film to do it a few times or more your first time. I’ve never done a back window and honestly I would rather just remove the window and make sure it’s perfect since I never do it and it would honestly probably save me time in the long run.

just did the back window tint on my car today. Took a total of three rolls of tint and a new heat gun which definitely worked better than my hair dryer which wasnt hot enough. Still got some bubble action but not as bad as the first two attempts. I burned the edges a couple times on the last one and had to cut those edges off, plus I realize I didnt allow enough time to heat it up even with the heat gun but it was a good learning experience.

There is definitely an art to this
Those are called fingers that can turn into creases if you squeegee them too hard. You can save the tint during install by adding more heat to the outside without having to start the process all over again.
This is the one project it’s worth hiring for
If that happened, any tips to fix it other than replace them with new ones?
I have no interest in doing this myself but the videos are so dang soothing to watch. I love them! Thanks
Good film makes a huge difference too! Some do shrink easier than others.
It takes talent to do a good job tinting windows! You guys are talented at tinting!! I’ve learned a lot from your videos but I still don’t feel comfortable enough to tackle tinting my car windows!I also lack patience!
Just started watching your videos. Thanks for the tips and information. Very helpful.
As someone who has no interest in tinting my windows, I'm actually glad to see these videos, so that I can roast those with crappy tint jobs
I have the same heat gun, they are great for paint removal as well
Genius, straight to the point, I wish I could subscribe a million times. love you brother
Absolutely perfect advice.. Not this mans first day..❤ Got a thumbs up here❤
This is teaching me about tinting ... something i didnt need , but love knowing
Love these
Thank you I tried it and it really works thanks a lot You just save me Some money.👍💯🙏
The more I watch these more I want to do this!
bro looks like he should be a scientist
I don't even have the intention of doing that, but I am really enjoying watching this man's short videos. Keep the amazing job!!
Such good information! Thank you!
I needed this video. Subscribed
These are really good how to videos thanks
Feels a lot like Big Z tryna show Cody how to make the board
This was very informative but also satisfying to watch
Nah, this man explained this too well and made it look too easy. Gonna have me wasting my time, money, and patience before taking it to a professional
That last part was so satisfying finally seeing those air bubbles go away😂
Great advice! Thanks
This is actually very helpful
Hey man your videos are good
I did my own tint 5 years ago. 2 months later it was bubbling. I ripped it off and went to a good shop. 4 1/2 years later and it still looks new.
They say a mastercraftsman can explain his entire trade to a toddler but even the most cable can not reproduce his work with his guidance.
Nice video I was watching your technique to install windshield. You're good thanks
What's funny to me, is that you had to try pretty hard to not get it to work right while it was still working pretty well. Lol. Watching a pro try to teach what not to do always cracks me up.
I love you people posting videos of how to do stuff so ill never need to pay to do it😂
Patience is key
i can see you migh be a cool guy, thanks for sharing this
I needed this video when me and my buddies were putting eBay tint on
Im gonna do this myself thanks to all your tips lol
Thank you for your pearl of wisdom
Never tint from inside of rear glass if it has heating defroster . It will get stick rip it when u remove the tint
Thanks for the tips
Thank you for sharing appreciate it ✌️
Really appreciate that tip!
Do you shrink the film and the backing together before you peel it and stick it to the inside of the glass?
I thought he said "-and then smooth it out...with heart!" and I was like "oh, this is a surprisingly cute turn of events!" 😅
God he makes it look so much easier than it actually is 😂😂😂
Me who will never mod my car, taking notes agressively
Don’t forget to not get to close or to slow cause you can also burn it lol happened to me when I was learning 😂
Incredible what taking your time to do something right can do
You make it look easy
Damn I been doing this wrong I never even thought about shrinking it 😂
God, how many windows have I struggled with before seeing this video 😂😂😂
Excellent video
Nice job man
I do vinyl and tent work. If you can do one, you can lean to do the other pretty easy.
Now i have the confidence to try it at home
This is AMAZING high!
just did the back window tint on my car today.
WOW this is the final piece i was missing…. The front and rear windows always no matter how perfect where difficult because of curvature
This will be a good educational video to use in auto shops.
Man, u make me wanna try to erase my past of never getn it rite😅
that was so satisfying at the end 😊
Imagine if the only people who saw this video were the only people who wanted to see this video...
Found a guy in my area(I live in New Jersey)that does ceramic. He did both the windshield and passenger and driver side front windows...310 bucks. Did an amazing job and it only took him two hours. Worth it to me at that price
Your work and information is awesome, thank you brother 🤘🏻🙏🏻

I actually learned something!
I got a full kit but imma leave the front and back for the shop most likely 💀 side windows are cake tho
If it having trouble getting the tint to stick, use a dryer sheet to get it prepped
I about fell over on how much I was quoted to do my equipment, and knew they were way harder to do than a car but..... Me being me I ordered 100 foot of nice tint, a variety of squeegees n chit and man on man what have I gotten myself into LMFAO I did pretty good I must say on the flat glass in the Bobcat Telehandler but got my ass handed to me on the curved front glass. I think I figured out from your video that my heat gun just sux. Going to order on and give another go. Thanks for the video!
did my gen 2 rx 7 hatch back window... Came out flawless no heat gun no nothing.
This is def a dumb question but how are you squeegying it from the inside when you've applied the sticker on the outside of the window? What am I missing? I'm so confused
Man I see so many people driving around with bubbly tint. If people would just learned the concept of shrinking they're install would be a lot better even though it wouldn't be professional quality
Can you do a tutorial for front windshields ?
This guys my hero
Very cool!
Can you show tips for side windows and mention me in it. I have a friend and we have a bet what way you are going to do this.
My wife left me “You didn’t shrink the film enough” 😔
