Funny how people give me such a hard time for paying someone to do some of the stuff I don't like doing. This is super easy now with a lift.

One of the nicest sounds I have heard. Beautiful color RS and I love the way the light hits it.

You videos are very informative - thanks! I've got a 2016 RS and it's nice to be able to see how things come apart from someone else. Suggestion for the exhaust all in one piece: next time use a jack to hold the system in place, and then you can free it and lower it down easier.

Yeah, there are all kinds of cool jacks and tools to assist that I'll be chasing.

Car sounds amazing. Also very interesting to see that the car comes with BMC filters from the factory. I’ve been wondering if the performance filters are legit or just a gimmick. Guess that answers that question. I might get one for my 987 Cayman S.

I did that on my GT3. It's a crap load of work. I've proven the Dundon makes power, so I decided to skip it on this one.

You're a very brave man, I wouldn't have the balls to tear down my car like that, once in a while I will remove the wheels for cleaning or changing for the track but thats my limit :-)

It's pretty nasty.

Matt, have you considered talking to the Landlord and asking him if you could cut the floor to make the lift LEVEL with the rest of the floor. When you vacate, you will just have to fill it in and repaint the floor to match. Will save you much hassle in the long run and won't be a huge cost. Just a suggestion. :) If you plan to be there for a long time it might really be the best way to go (and the safest).!

I'm going to have some metal blocks with a sight inclining ramp made to address this. Then I'll be able to offer this to those of us that can't cut the floor. I only have a 1 year lease, so I don't want to go there at this point in time. If we end up staying here for a while I will probably recess it.

31:07 the Venturi effect is something really different to that...it's related to air being channeled underneath the car creating a vacuum effect which makes downforce (and so the car more planted and stable).

27:07 have some moving blankets that you can stack up under the car. They're also great for catching tools and fasteners from rolling across the floor.

Weird how your RS doesn't have the little red thing that stops your engine lid from coming down must be just an EU thing, also snap on electric 3/8 is gods gift :p

Matt, have you tried maxi-flex gloves? They are the only gloves I wear at work. They are not too hot, they breathe and maintain better dexterity than any other gloves I've used.

Great setup, jealous of the lift. I am considering Dundon catless for my .1. My experience in going catless with other cars I've had is ton of carbon buildup on the rear bumper. Are you finding this to be similar on the RS or your previous GT3? Thanks in advance.

You plate will yellow after a few year and the tips will get some build up inside, but that's about it. Nothing on the bumper for me.

It does have them. The clicks are much quieter.

The GT3 RS should come with a full Inconel exhaust from the factory. Would never crack like the Ti exhaust and it would be just as light, if not lighter.

Know this probably isn’t your style. Instead of having something built to take the place of 2x4 near your lift, you could add thick rubber horse stall mats. Same material some gyms use for shock absorbing flooring. Easy to cut to size and inexpensive

As a long time viewer of OG to me this isn't primarily about fitting an exhaust to the GT3 RS, this is about the implementation of a vision to have a lift in the OG garage and the progress / efficiency it brings - either that or its the noise :). Keep doing crazy Matt, cheers Kevin.

Mine had, but I must have a leak. Generally it does not. I have to get it back up on the rack to dial it in.
