haha i know the feeling exactly, so many times i think i can finish off a good round to then hit 2 or 3 out of bounds on the last couple holes lol

I’ve given up on gspro. The yardages are so off on my shots it’s not even enjoyable. I’ve been playing e6 a bit more however but tgc is my favorite.

Yeah. Would love to know what LM and exactly what is off. Have you posted your numbers on discord so developers can see what’s going on? You sure you are not set to meters? You are the first person to complain about yardages and actually think E6 is more accurate.

Great video! The game play looks really fun on GSpro,. The gimme circle especially is added motivation. Its great that they are watching your videos and incorporating the suggestions. The yardage number after each shot is the distance left to pin instead of distance travelled like on TGC. Impressive playing, even from forward tees with only 6i as longest club its tough. I've started trying to play real courses like this also forward tees, irons only makes you think about course management and its enjoyable to have decent shots in for pars and birdies. You're hard on yourself man, center of the green on an approach is always good! I think you should get 3 strokes back for the glitch and call it even par for the round.

Thanks pal. Yes I probably get at least 2-3 no reads per round with SkyTrak. Not ideal but not too disheartening.

Brutal. I hate the drop options on TGC19 too. Too often on holes by the water with a cliff down, if you hit the water you are stuck in pergatory taking drops on a beach having to hit uphill

they are adding the scorecard and flyover between holes it will be configurable so you can turn it on or off personally i dont want it on

Excellent 🙌🏼 I think it is brilliant how GSPro are so responsive with their updates, especially being able to choose/giving people the option whether you want certain aspect or not during your experience. Such a breath of fresh air from TGC

How do you like the putting with skytrak? I’ve heard it’s off by a certain percentage. Also, is there an option in gs pro or skytrak to turn straight putt on to avoid this? Thank you for your videos, I’m preparing to build a sim (probably with skytrak and gs pro) and your videos have been immensely helpful

Thanks for the kind comment 👍🏻 I have grown to really like the putting with SkyTrak actually. Putting on simulators is rarely going to be as accurate real life unless you spend a fortune. The straight putt feature on TGC make the game much more enjoyable. In GSPro, i believe that straight putting is naturally part of the software so you dont need to turn it on. I have read that you can hit a putt offline by a certain number of degrees and GSPro wil still read it as a straight putt. After playing TGC 2019 with straight putting on and then moving over to GSPro, I have barely noticed a difference 👍🏻

Quick question - what do you use for tees when you hit a driver? In the process of researching mats for my sim and not sure how people use SkyTrak off mat and then switch to tees. Thanks.

I can’t hit driver in my sim 😔 The ceiling is too low. I used to just use winter tees when I had my setup outside

I hit driver with sky track. I have those rubber tees like at the driving range but anything works.

All done with irons. Nice!

Just purchased a SkyTrak and already have a capable gaming pc, what software do you recommend I go with? GSPRO or TGC

If i was just getting started like you, I think I would go with GSPro. Although GSPro is not officially licensed with SkyTrak, I think you get more value for money. Technically, SkyTrak could pull the plug on GSPro at any time in which case you risk losing $250. But I believe there are clever tech people out there who could workaround this quite easily if needed. If you want 100% certainty for a lifetime of sim golf then go for TGC 2019. That programme is officially endorsed by SkyTrak so you have no worries there.

What are your PC specs? Video card? I have an old desktop with an old video card, that just doesn't work with gspro. Looking at buying a new PC and video card.

The rest I can’t remember off the top of my head but I explain it all in this vid 👍🏼

It is, and i would have taken it at the start of the round no doubt! Just typical golf mentality, you always know you could have done better! 😂

i can tell you that OB thing is a course issue,. it is because the water hazard and OB are not setup up right on the course

I absolutely hate my skytrack . the number of shots that are missed is just shocking . for all those in doubt don't buy it . frustrating . chips are also inconsistent

I hear you, but have you got the SkyTrak set up properly? As in aligned correctly, same height as your hitting surface and nothing white in line with the SkyTrak cameras? All these could be causing your misreads. Apologies if you have already tried all of these!

Thx for tips but i tried everything what is available from tips on the web. It´s so strange that sometimes it works very good and yet the next day 20 or more misreads. Same dedicated indoor setup
