A helpful video, thank you. It would be even better though if you had added descriptions to the dial differences as you didn't go macro and the negative lcd is barely visible. We need to be able to see the differences before we purchase.

why in this video? Original G-shock made in China?? because as far as I know, the G-shock that has a high selling price is the G-shock made in Japan

Glad that u ask, casio/gshock japan currently have 3 production sites which is: 1. Japan(mainly for highend model like frogman,mtg,etc / collaboration models - mostly but not all) 2. China( mainly for basic model like GA,GW or other highend model - that sold outside of japan ) 3. Thailand( mainly for basic model like GA,GW or other ) 4. Korea & Malaysia ( if you can find it is very old model, which the production site now are already close )
mine all same like the original but the strap isn’t 😭

the only way to 100% confirm is it original, you will have to open up the backcase and see the internal module. btw fake straps do have strong rubber like chemical smells.
5082 is that a code?

A module engine code for gshock/casio watches, you can search on casio gshock website or google for more info.

@@techspecs3760 open the 4 screw of the back case, compare the engine with the one in video you will know yours is fake or not.
