Barely any restaurants in my market are using the place and pay thing, I’m mostly just picking up but my specialist is cool too, he was able to move me to the next market over from my last one when I moved to a new city and helps me when I need it

I'll simply only do these orders if they make sense. For instance, I'll gladly do a $10+ order that I don't even have to get out of my car for(Drive-thru). Or if the payout is significant I'll jump on it. I'm a bit worried we'll start to see crap payouts($4-8) with these cards more often than not. Anycase I cherrypick so no worry from me!

It's been over 3 weeks already, I still haven't seen the card.

Am I doing something wrong. I never got a card. Also when I see an order it now just shows the name of the restaurant and how much for total order no other information until I choose to accept or reject.

The card isn’t everywhere. Ask your specialist if it’s in your region.

I just recently signed up with Grubhub. They finally sent me my equipment but failed to send me the credit card (Facepalm). Can I do orders without the credit card or do I need to wait until I have it altogether?

I am, but my card hasn't worked for awhile and I didn't care to contact them for a new one since I reject most of those delivery opportunities anyway. I do a lot more deliveries on DD, and minimal GH since they went to crap.

what do you mean don't take your bags in once they see your paying with the GrubHub card they're going to immediately know you are driving for GrubHub. I had a worker get mad at me because I couldn't tip because I was using a grubhub card.

For my experience I went to a restaurant friendly they said we don't do grubhub we only do door dash and uber eat. They're all confused when they see grubhub bag but they make the food for me anyway

This is NOT cool! One of the reasons I prefer GH over DD is I dont have to place an order. Placing orders slows you down! I will be rejecting all offers if I have to pay with a card!

@@dvelilla in LA where i am there was an email recently that you cant take orders whatsoever without the driver card, i always have worked w out one

@@blacksheeptocashcow Yes, that is true. And if you lose the card, which I did earlier this year, and report it in the app so they can send you new one, you will not be able to log in until you receive the new card. Very frustrating so dont lose that card!

I hate this 😡. First order I got restaurant was very hostile and would not take the order over the phone. second-order right after that the restaurant would not answer the phone so GrubHub wanted me to go to the restaurant and place the order and sit there and I said no and logged off for the night.

Grubhub and Doordash = exploitations of the working American People at the Zenith. I am a driver since July 2020. I have study Hospitality Industry and work in the past for some of the best restaurants in New York and Washington DC. I know local chefs and restaurants owners for a very long time. I have to say Grubhub practice Exploitation of drivers. Pay per mile is less then was 35 years ago and it is $0.25. Restaurant not open and reported by driver $1.50. Food orders cancelation $1.00. Delivery base pay $2-3. Bonus pay which is very small for long distance delivery and is small. Grubhub algorithms discriminate the drivers forcing them to pick up from far away restaurants which id not good for delivery client and for driver. Total abuse of the Workers The American People. You can not support one person working 7 days per week for Grubhub.

I'm taking this video to my lawyer. I mean, I literally cannot believe what I just heard.

I would not have had as much of a problem with the roll out if GH would have sent an email to all drivers and let us all know this was coming to our markets. Instead, we have to find out through various social media groups and KZreadrs like yourself. Then after hearing about it, we get the Verify Address prompt on the GH app with no explanation even though it's for the PEX. GH is shady as hell now and this could have been handled a lot differently and better. I am literally calling them Doordash Lite because there really is no difference anymore between the two. Personally, everytime I see the prompt, I don't answer the yes or no and back out of it to do orders. Until they themselves give an explanation WHICH IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO, why should I freely give them courtesy in return?

Wait a minute... You just told us to fool the restaurants. And then told us to have integrity? What kind of lunacy is that? You can't have selective Integrity. You either have it, or you don't.

I tried it with postmates that was horrible. Very very bad experience. You wait too much for few dollars!!! Not worth it at all

Not a fan of this idea. No word of any card in my market yet.

If your card is stolen. It was probably at gunpoint, in a dark alley. With nobody around. And your assailant, probably requested you to be there. If you're not dead, call the police first. GrubHub, 2nd.

Just started grubhub a few days ago, had 2 blocks scheduled and worked today without one. Do you get less/worse offers if you are online but not in a scheduled block?
