They look healthy you should clip the tops before you transplant them to the garden this will give them a better root structure and strengthen the plant as it grows. This is what tobacco growers do hope you have a good 2010 crop. Salam

@Notagayname12 I make a liquid fertilize solution and put it on the top of the soil. I then water them to wash it down to the roots. If you let the soil dry out a little before fertilizing, it seems to work better. Good Luck.

Your plants are much bigger than the last time I seen them, Very healthy looking. The fish emulsion has apparently done the trick. Are you growing your tobacco in Alaska as your name might imply ? If so, do other people grow tobacco there?

I`d be interested in what you come up with as, I heard you need to cure them.
