Spring in north east Texas has been brutal when it comes to rain. Finally been a week with only sunshine, but now it's hot like a sauna. Trying to keep up with the garden but half of it failed. Never be discouraged though. Where I'm at you still have time to plant all the summer crops. I'm now planting more tomatoes and peppers for the fall. Summer squash too, and green beans, and cucumbers 😊

I started just raking the grass from the lawn and leaves in the fall. I was able to get some wood ships dropped off and Tulsa Oklahoma has a wood chip yard that gives for free. That is how I got started. Thank you for visiting my story.

For all whom stress about your garden. I'm so fortunate to have this One Tomato plant that is now producing. I look at this One tomato every other day, that sits on my counter. Waiting for it to ripen. If you have one successful harvest, let only one fruit, you did something right. I was discouraged because of the weather this spring. My pattypan squash died, only got 4 squash...Squashbugs. bleh..
