you get that he was proposing that in the terms of black separatism, right? the people he's talking about standing armed shoulder to shoulder with are black, and whites are the enemy. he later recanted all that and proposed interracial brotherhood. nobody ever quotes Malcolm X after that pivot.

People want change but they also want to do illegal things and not take responsibility for their actions.
