lol im addicted of watching Momota playing although so many ppl judged him as "boring". not because how entertaining his games were but the mindset, the confidence, professionalism made it. never disappoint his fans. the longer the matches progress, the more dangerous he becomes. like a fighting machine only knows to keep seeking for his opponent's weaknesses and punish them, patiently and quietly. while other players too force themself thinking "how to win this mat h, how to stop making errors..." lol, i would say ur playing against a machine, hes not confident, hes progammed, emotionless and no mercy !!

if u have ever read me (something so unlikely) u can realise that im always commending Momota for winning day in day out. it is incredible how he always manage to get the win. his mental strength right now is what make him unbeatable. I hope he can keep up but I I'd like to see other players (I mean a banch of 2-3 players) who can finally defeat him

I think Chen Long, Chou Tien Chen, Ginting, and maybe Axelsen, can manage to win in their very good condition plus Momota in bad condition. Momota is a full package of perfection now like Lin Dan 10 years ago. There is a dangerous mental strategy that when Momota plays a 3-set match with someone, such opponent (and maybe other players who watch that match) think that they still have something to show, but in fact they still don't.

@@NP-Channel Absolutely, the top 3 contenders to challenge Momota's supremacy are Chen Long, Chou Tien Chen, Ginting. As for Axelsen, I think he's the least likely of the top 8 to score a win against Momota any time soon; he's got a crushing head-to-head record.

@@BadmintonLogic yeah, I know and I hope She Yuqi can return as soon as possible in his best form. however, I think it difficult to him to go to olympics because Chen long will go for sure and it only left one place for LD or SYQ

If the shuttle was red too, that would be amazing.

I've seen many players such as Chen Long go head to head with Momota into the 3rd set, but always lose out in the last 10 points. Seems that Momota can keep his calm and cool and win by probability of just messing up less.
