Awesome. I feel like builds that aren't in survival dont really count. There isnt the sense of accomplishment in it.

I'm currently pretty proud of my slowly developing pond/oak tree complex. Mostly built on the lily pads that come off the branch [No floating build pieces, working on the pond lab] got some ziplines to go to the pagoda, juice box, and the roots above the oak lab entrance. I made a 'staircase' out of clover roof to the top of the pagoda cause I remember crow feathers dropping up there but I'm not sure they do anymore lol

The little details you add inside like the loft and the museum. So cool. I'm almost done with a castle base in the new tier 3 area.

You can create that overhang without overlapping the tiles. You just have to place them at a half tile offset. It's easy to do if you use a half wall first to place a blueprint next to. You then remove the half wall and continue building the rest of the roof off of the offset roof tile.

My forts are crazy. Ants kept attacking me from the start. It said they want revenge but I had never harmed any ants. They broke my house down and broke a container that had ant parts. I got them from ants that a ladybug killed. So I ended up building crazy forts. Fences around fences inside of other fences... I was stashing things in crazy places. Then I realized I could shut off the ant raids. Now I can relax and build some cute houses like these.

I really like your second house, the log cabin at the edge of the pond. The windows at the top add so much character! I too struggle with base builds that are aesthetically pleasing, mine always end up being a box. I think they all look really good. And that museum is a really great idea. It looks amazing!

I've only ever done one playthrough of Grounded and built one base. But it's an epic base high up on the mushrooms on the oak tree, with ziplines going all over the map. Love that base.

I’m watching this video as inspo before I build my first base! Started the game a couple of days ago, right now my “base” is a campfire and a lean-to right next to a science research tent with no fence 😂. Hasn’t worked out too well, but at least the orb weavers are too big to get inside the research tent

I‘m still a fan the museum you guys built, totally forgot about that little playground area! Also, it would be neat if we could build floors over foundations after release.

The museum was the first Milton video I watched lol. Love the log cabin base, I've always wanted a better look at it. The castle is cool, I'm wondering if you can find a way to connect the towers. There's gotta be a way. Very nice! Solid 9.5 out of 10!

Wonderful excellent base building but....in order to t r y to duplicate we need a foot print. First floor 10x9 fencing area. 26x32 2nd floor 8x8 etc. Examples or a footprint. Thanks medi

Instead of just entering the house nd u see 1 room. Think of creating foyers for entrances. Use half tall walls to semi seperate certain places. Also no balconies? For the 1st base if it balcony overweeing the pond would make ot awesome

I also like that I put a lot of effort to make multiple bases with chests but they're mostly unused since almost everything just goes to my main base

I HV like one base 2 farms 3 outpost or safe houses and 1 lake House mostly used for diving honestly I wanna build a castle but I stuck between the into the wood area and the sandbox location

I'm still in survival working on building up my into the woods materials I've built more practical builds like a roadway in the air and travel type builds I can get around the entire map above the grass I have one main hub above the thing in the middle of the lasers but nothing to fancy I can't wait to use wood flooring

You and I build pretty much the same. I want to get away from the basic cube/rectangle building myself.

My bases are plain . my coffers are organized. But my house is always lack luster. Armor statues and weapon stands line my walls. We are all caught up tho. All achievements on xbx1.

Castle: First hated the ladder placement for entry seems very clunky. I feel like the middle tower is under utilized and could have a spiral stair case going up for entry. Imo Ladders are horrible I tried using them once and just couldn't get over how clunky they were. Love the off the ground concept of the castle. The third build I believe was the mysterious machine was great in terms of how it looked the functionality was meh. Again get rid of ladders. Stairs fill in space and are aestheticly please and add a sense style to any room. I love how u did the armor sets that really is gonna inspire me in my armor sets. Aphid island build is cute and perfect for what it is used for. Me personally my main base in on the bird bath.

Brand new to Grounded and I just need to know ONE THING. Is building a base a necessity in this game? Or is it like Son's of the Forest where you CAN build a base but then you end up realizing that a base is practically useless! Still fun to build and setup a base, but on SOTF right now it's 100% pointless! You can easily beat the game without ever chopping down a single tree. With that said.. I still enjoy building in SOTF more than anything else the game currently has to offer, but I'm just hoping that building a base in this particular game is strongly suggested/needed?

Completely optional. On my complete playthrough after the 1.0 release I put all my stuff on lily pads and never built a base and 100% the game.

Are you feeling bad bc I called "someone we will leave unamed" bases kickass? No need. I think these are freakin cool. Our bases are so boring compared. Really. After watching I am hitting the old man up for some base improvements. I'm sure he'll thank you for it. Rating: 9 bc 10 is kinda dramatic don't you think?

Scale, your builds are all small. You ask what you could do to make them better. Make them larger. You mention functionality is your main goal, build a crafting room, multiple ovens, loads of chests, spindles, grinders, glue mashers etc.
