I hope she loves it, remember to make your dough to resemble damp modeling clay (not to wet or dry) if it cracks, it needs more water, if it sticks to plastic it’s got to much water. Take your time and enjoy my friend. ❤️👍🏼

First time commenter. I have been looking for the recipe that is like the ones that the empleada used to make. The last time I had them I was 18 years old. I am now 68 years old. When I fixed these for my wife and I, I started tearing up. They are so good and so like those she used to make that I actually started to cry. Gracias Letitia y gracias Rachel for letting this old man enjoy a momentary reliving of his youth. PS My wife dearly loved them too.

I am a fairly good cook….my family never complains. Well my techniques are now up a notch, thanks to you and your videos. My sopas are more flavorful, my meatloaf is more savory and my family even asked what I’m doing differently. I cannot lie and gave you all the credits!! I sincerely appreciate ALL that you do!

I just love watching Rachel cook all of these authentic Mexican dishes. I love good Mexican food, and she helps me make my own dishes right in my kitchen and I don't have to go out looking for a good Mexican restaurant 😋. Thank you so much Rachel for sharing these wonderful cooking recipes 😊

I love empanadas, there is a place here in the Los Angeles area called empanadas world. But yours look so good. I love watching you cook, you explain everything so well and are a very beautiful lady.

It’s called The Empanada Place in Culver City, off of Sawtelle. Love their varied empanadas, they are Argentines. So their fillings are different but so delicious. I’ve gone there for over 30 years.

I absolutely love the way you cook I'm Italian french decent and married a Hispanic from new Mexico his mom and dad taught me to cook Mexican in 1972 but I like your recipes better and the way you make them thank you so much

You are such an education for me Rachel. I assume that maseca is a type of polenta? I love that press you have. Makes life so much easier. They look so good. I have never seen empanadas before. You might wonder what part of the planet I'm on!!! Well I'm an old grandma in Australia and am used to English and German styles of cooking. Mexican is new to me and I'm loving your videos. I'm going to try your coleslaw and other salads and whatever and the tuna melts. Except for all the chillies. Our supermarket has one or two types of chillies. That must be enough for us Aussies. Keep up the good work.

Growing up and listening to my parents country music from the 50's through the 80's and listening to my brother play his records and tapes of rock from the 50' through the 80's gave me a great appreciation of music and the meanings behind the songs. My parents liked early rock too but played more country music. All music has a wonderful way of telling a story and conveying a feeling.

Love watching this lady cook with love for her Ron. The best tip I learned is to place a wet tea towel rolled up to make a ring on the bench and place your bowl onto it to stop it from moving.
