Groudle Glen Railway: Celebrating 125 Years

A celebration of the Groudle Glen Railway, on its 125th anniversary.
Opened as a Victorian tourist attraction in 1896, the narrow gauge railway runs along the picturesque Groudle Glen in Onchan to the end of the line overlooking the sea, where a zoo used to stand at Sea Lion Rocks.
Operated since 1982 entirely by volunteers, this wonderful Victorian steam railway is an amazing attraction for everyone to enjoy.
On 23 May 2021 it celebrated its 125th birthday, at which this film was made, with thanks to the kindness and generosity of the volunteers of the Groudle Glen Railway.
