Many people in the comments saying it's a complicated and boring game. I played it after buying it after watching this video. This game is easy to play, has a very nice flow, and is not at all complicated. The game's VERY FUN and Dave did a fine job explaining the rules. If you doubt me, I'd say - Play the game first then see... :D Cheers! :D
I love this shows guys and I watch it as soon as a new game sessions comes out. Keep it up! By the way....you may want to keep an eye on Dave. 00.50.49 - Dave takes Lincoln coin for himself. 01.00.04 - Dave takes an extra final point moving 5 instead of 4. And no one noticed....nice one Dave!
Intricate rules, but it seems an interesting game, thanks for the video. Also, you got me curious. Early in the game Lincoln said he had already something to bring up once the game was finished. It felt like it would be some harsh criticism. Did he forget? Or during the game, being able to recover himself from bankruptcy, he changed his mind?

I still feel it's harsh to the bidder who goes for broke on something they he/she "needs" because there are 2 each of the goal cards. It was Aaron's predicament that gave me that impression. But again that is the nature of most auction games.
When Aaron was start player at 35:31 and had no money to bid which therefore forced him to pass, couldn't he still have traded good(s) at a ship or can you only do that if you receive good(s) from passing?
other people have pointed out that Dave accidentally moves his coins up by1 instead of Lincolns at 50:50, but abou 1h, he gives himself an extra point too - tsk tsk
58:36 18+6 is 24, Nikki tied with Lincoln
Hey guys! i discovered your GameNight(s) quite recently, and find your gaming (extended) group pretty interesting. Mature people, thinking, competitive yet not caring THAT much about winning (or screwing others) is really pleasant! Catching up on earlier videos, and i am really enjoying most of them, which wasn't THAt granted since you have a WIIIIDE array of games you film. Keep up the good work, and cheers from a fellow french board gamer (i dare not say fan ^^)
Black Fleet would be perfect for you guys!
What happened with the grey die on Nikki's turn at 31 minutes? There was apparently a cut and it was moved to the last position. Is that because it was not originally a 6? However, she placed a guy on the grey peninsula when it was in the first position.

What I noticed was that she placed the lock on the grey peninsula instead of the yellow (after also placing a guy on the grey peninsula). I assume that since there was a yellow die on the lock space, it should have been the yellow peninsula. If so, just a simple mistake. First I thought there had been a rules discussion and correction during a cut (when the dice were shifted down), so I wondered what had been changed.

tribalguy2 I see the same thing as you. It happens sometimes when playing new games. Slight oversight. Still a very good play through.

Yes, unfortunately Nikki locked on Grey instead of on Yellow (which was the 4th die). Also, at 50:50 Dave moves his own gold counter instead of Lincoln's. Not sure if it affected the outcome but it certainly seemed to affect his opening bid on the next turn.
Are Dave and Nikki an item as they always sit together? Great videos keep them up

+Lincoln Damerst it took me months to figure it out!
I'll explain that later... Lol
Sometimes it takes a long time to explain the rules of a game that ends up easy to play. This is a good example of that. Nothing hard to learn, just a lot of it. Game looks really great and seems fun to play. Lincoln, have you had a chance to play Spyfall? Would make a great Gamenight game. :)
At 30:40, the lock from Nikki should have been put onto a house in the yellow peninsula, not the grey :) Nonetheless, looks like a fun game, thanks!
been really intersted in this game. It seems to get good and really bad reactions.
First!

Nikki's final score was miscounted, for the grey peninsula majority her score went from 18 to 25. If the tie-breaker is commodities Nikki still wins.
good job guys, a possible boring game yet maybe...
Is this the only episode where Lincoln hasn't worn a t-shirt or jersey? Not a complaint, just an observation.

Those entered the apparel repertoire much later. As you go back it's a crap ton of t-shirts and then Hawaiian camp shirts. Thanks for watching!

@@boardgamegeek I'm sure I've seen them then and it's just my old brain having trouble remembering. :D
somebody take the cracks pipe away from dave
Board game looks for children, but omg... the rules are way too confusing. I fail to see the fun in having to play such a complicated game. I grew bored after 20 min of listening the rules. It is just too complex to teach new non hardcore players.
