I actually wash and reuse my plastic zip lock bags. I don’t want them at the land fill, if possible. Once I don’t use them for my food items, I will start to use them for around the house. Ie storing Lego, puzzle (because the box broke), toy/game pieces... etc. I also use them in the car for children clothing, so if we are on the road and they get dirty, I have clean clothes for them to change into. But I don’t know if it is safe to use the bags so much like that though, especially after using it for food? But so far, we have not had issues. The only time I throw them out is if there is a hole in them or if my kids rip it accidentally when they try to open the zipper, which does happen on occasion.

I'm confused about the tomatoe paste.. what's the point of any of that when you usually end up using the whole can?

Maybe the dishes you make call for the entire can, but the dishes I make usually call for tablespoon amounts. A lot of recipes do actually.

And how much of your "savings" are spent with this awful amount of kitchen towel, one way plastic etc? 😂😂 Buy only as much as you need - THAT saves money!

That only saves money if you let bulk buys go to waste. A restaurant would instantly go bankrupt with your suggestion.
