Most of the haul would be double the cost here in the u.s . The cake alone would be 25 usd and that jar of honey 10.00 usd. Great finds hope the birthday is fun. Appreciate you took time to film a haul before the celebration. 🥰

A tin of beans is $2 in the states. All canned veg is over a dollar. I am rural, but is same price in Tulsa metro. Everything but chicken beef and dairy is from 100 miles and much is 800 MILES

Wow that is a lot! And it's a long way for food to travel which must explain some of the high price. I know the mean wages are much higher in the US but it must be so hard for families on minimum wage xx

We have 'food stamps' a single mum with one child qualifies good for all food stuff except ready to eat. And my fav. Women and children for preg moms and kids under 5. a 'basket' voucher, a week of food that is as close to real as possible, pure juice, A 4 liter milk, eggs, peanut butter and cereal plus more and you would qualify and it is for each kiddo. No wages are not much higher for the lower 25%@@mumthings

Haul wasn't too bad for the money. Happy birthday to your youngest. I, too, am still working on clearing out my freezer. I have pork chops, stir-fry beef, sausages, hot dogs, ham, and meat balls left. Oh! And 2 pork loin roasts. Seems a neverending black hole in there. Have fun at the party! 😂🐢💤 (George is still hibernating)

Hi I am from east sussex but live in nz. Our food here is off the planet. Just basic stuff for 2 of us is in excess of $300 to $350 a week. It's ridiculous when I came home in august and went to sainsburys and m and s I was so stoked to see such cheap food. I almost lived in there . Hope the party goes well happy birthday ❤❤❤❤❤

@mumthings hi wages here are very low cost of living through the roof. We have our own business and make good money but our tax bills are huge u pay for everything here rubbish collection doctors appointments, prescriptions u name it. U can see why people take their kids to McDonald's here it's cheaper. Shocking really.

Sainsbury own rice krispies are really good and now I have the urge to make rice krispies cakes!

Made some added marshmallow they were scrumptious. Thankfully my carer helped me devour them otherwise my diet would be in total jeopardy lol

Rice krispies should not have added gluten because they're RICE krispies. I learnt that the hard way after buying non-gf rice krispies

Squash is diluting juice. So it’s like a concentrate you add to water. Not sure over ever seen it in an American video actually! Xx

I thought claire might have made her own cake as i was looking forward to seeing it . However like every mum knows theres not enough hours in the day so u have to draw a line somewhere ... also i find as soon as you need it for an event it doesn't turn out well lol px

Oh I still plan on using that train mold but as you say, something had to give! Plus I'm a terrible baker so I don't think I could take the pressure haha xx
