Its so fucking beatiful machine!

I remember in the early -90s the talk in Sweden about "we don't need this" "it's too expensive" "it's not good enough". Here we are, 30+ years later, and it's still flying around just as up-to-date and dangerous as any other war machine around.

Vänta efter Ukraina-Kriget så kommer alla F-16 och F-18 skrotas, anledningen är att dessa plan designades utifrån att ett flygfält alltid är i perfekt kondition.... Så ser inte det verkliga kriget ut. Svenskarna hade rätt med sitt luftförsvars-doctrin

Looking at the real life data, capabilities and abilities, no. 4th gen + is still soundly 4th gen and no matter how you look at it, generational upgrades on all accounts truly matter.
