// ABOUT THIS VIDEO //
One thing is certain… Pfingstegg is fun for the whole family!
Pfingstegg is perched above Grindelwald, which means it’s one of the many great things to do in Grindelwald during the summer! Just catch a 5-minute ride on the Pfingsteggbahn to jumpstart your adventures!
PFINGSTEGG TOBOGGAN RUN
Get ready to zip down the hills on a mountain coaster! This 725-meter ride speeds around curve after curve with astonishing views of Grindelwald below and the Eiger in the distance. And at the end of your ride, it pulls both you and your cart back to the top.
PFINGSTEGG FLY LINE
Cruise through the trees during a 350-meter ride at around 12 km/hour! Gently kick your legs as you enjoy the unique perspective of the forest. And, just like the toboggan run, you don’t have to hike back to the top because it transports you back up!
PFINGSTEGG FUN PACKAGE
Pfingstegg already sounds fun, right?! There’s even more to love with the Pfingstegg FUN Package, which provides multiple rides at a discounted price. BUT, if you have a Swiss train pass, then this package may NOT be the best deal for you. (In fact, buying the FUN Package if you have our favorite Swiss rail pass will actually LOSE you money!) Watch the video to find out why!
HIKING IN SWITZERLAND
Pfingstegg is strategically placed beside numerous hiking trails from Grindelwald village, Grindelwald Gorge (Grindelwald Glacier Canyon), and even some of the glacier huts. So if you’re searching for Pfingstegg fun AND a nice walk, you can easily have both!
HOW TO REACH PFINGSTEGG & HOW MUCH PFINGSTEGG COSTS
WATCH NOW to see the adventures, and READ THE BLOG LATER to find the details you’ll need to plan your trip to Pfingstegg - and save money too!

    Thank you! Great video as usual! Yes, we subscribe LOL We'll be there in June for almost a month in the Switzerland portion of our trip. We would love to see a video on what to wear depending on the month/ season. Looking back at last years temperatures looks like Wengen and that area can be 59 in the morning and up to 91 in the afternoon. Just for a video idea. We're still struggling with what to pack. And for me especially, I'm a minimalist, love a small suitcase.

    Thanks so much for subscribing! A whole month in Switzerland sounds like an amazing trip! As far as clothing, we always recommend layers. As you've discovered, it can be quite chilly in the morning and then warm in the afternoons. Wearing layers lets you put on a take off throughout the day depending on temperatures. We've created a video on what to pack and while we don't give clothing advice for month-to-month, we do give some ideas about layering. You may or may not have seen the video but I'll leave the link here just incase you want to watch it:) We hope you have an amazing trip. Happy packing! kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZJ5lu9mYgJzUgM4.html

    Great question! We don't think there's much difference, especially if you'll mostly be sticking to the Jungfrau Region. But if you'll travel between Interlaken and Bern/Thun or Luzern with the pass, you might enjoy the nicer seating, which mostly comes down to more space and less people. Otherwise, many of the trains/lifts in the Jungfrau Region don't even have separate classes.
