Definitely gives off that vibe. I had an instructor that was like that; all the students were scared especially when the previous instructor she replaced was more laid back. This new instructor definitely knew her stuff, and if you did it in a way she approved, the state licensing would have no issue, and you'd pass with flying colors. At the end, all the students had great praise for her

Same. Had to watch this video again after seeing Gordon Ramsay's abortion of a grilled cheese sandwich. Alton Brown may have burnt the bread a little here, but at least he calls attention to how easy this is to accidentally burn with negligence. And at least his cheese is properly melted. Gordon both burned the bread in a very short amount of time, while simultaneously failing to melt the cheese, thus twice failing on how to apply heat.

Day 57. The death count is now in the hundred millions. Fortunately, we’ve picked up Alton’s trail. He’s been in the vast mountain range, named the “Rockies.” It’s located in Colorado, USA. The ISS has crashed in a desert, a few miles south of the US/Mexico border. The world and humanity as we know is failing. Everything is falling apart. We *need* to find Alton, and fast, before more catastrophic events take place. _Please, help us..._

Alton moved on to other shows. Food Network didn't do Good Eats any favors by only showing it in the middle of the day. GE had a significant following. The difference, I have found, is both love and passion. Used to work at a cafe that had a cheese melt. There's an element of flavor that you can get on a charcoal grill you'll never find on a stovetop griddle. For example, I would throw some applewood chips on the charcoal and close the lid while the cheese is intially melting, and then again once the sandwiches are all bound up.
