This is one of those songs that either makes you incredibly happy, or incredibly sad.

It's impossible to listen to this song enough times to be satisfied. It is TOO amazing. His voice, the guitar, light piano in the background. I love everything about it!

Where was I when this beautiful song was created? Like so many people said 12 years ago, this song articulates the pain, yet places you perfectly within a hopeful state of consciousness. My sadness has created a melancholy algorithm they take advantage of with every new song. This one is now at the top of the list; by not taking the wind out of my sails, like so many songs do.

This makes me wish true love existed. Such a wonderful song with lyrics that make your heart flutter :)

My exboyfriend dedicated this song to me before we broke up. I still cry when ever I listen to it. Our paths parted but we are conected cuz our love was stronger than us

I listen to this song on some of my worst days and there have sadly been so many in the past 2 years. Griffen House has always had that impossibly cool and beautiful voice-he's talkin but he's still singing at the same time like a lyrical conversation and he just does it like nobody else! His songs get right into my heart like the best hug ever. I listened to him after my exfiance left me with an impossible situation basically a house on fire and I had to rebuild my whole life and that person has destroyed my ability to get any help or even be a part of any community for nearly 20 years later...so here Griffen House came along almost as if he had seen me crying on my back porch or heard some of the arguments too! He just walked into my home and comforted me with his songs and he still does! Griffen is truly a One of a Kind all on his own to write these incredibly soothing songs to help me so much. I lived with his aunt Lisa for about 10 years she sadly passed in 2015 this song has always struck me a little oddly as he wrote it for a girl he was engaged to once it was recorded and presented to her he promptly broke off the engagement but that is not to say he is a bad guy as both parties are happy with their choices in the family he was always considered a serial monogamist

He is the real deal! Down to earth and an artist that soothes your inner self!

I spent hours trying to figure out which song this song reminded me of.. finally I remembered I felt it sounded like Bruce Springsteens "I'm on Fire" (especially the way they both say "desire"). I feel so relieved I finally remembered!

i moved to wales last year when my parents divorced and i try to come back to england as much as i can and theres one person i come back for everytime "im back in town for a day or to but mostly i came back just to see you"

just got out of a small personal concert with him in San Francisco, all I have to say is that he won me over. Just f-ing! brilliant lyrics, singing and chords.

I first heard this through a singer in Clearwater. The more he sang it, the more it became a song that was truly a song about us. He sang it when he was w/o his backup band and it was always just for me. He did make sure the audience knows the original artist. One day I'll hopefully get to her Griffin House sing it live as well.
