Ever since Covid and the new company taking over they cut most of the good paying runs. I still love greyhound but you might make better at another company until the good 💰 comes back.

Hi Cherish. Thank you for the information on Greyhound. I have ridden a lot of buses coast to coast and so I know what it is like and now I am actually considering on driving. I already have a class A CDL with passengers endorsement and air breaks. I have worked for 3 different trucking companies OTR and I am currently a bus driver trainer for Disney. I have been with them for over 7 years. I am just trying to see what I am getting myself into. Stay safe out there
Love your videos. Thank you for taking the time to enlighten us.
I used to drive Greyhound bus but I left 2 years ago. One trainer was rude but I dealt with it like a champ and I would drive out of Cincinnati Ohio station stopping in different parts of Ohio and then I drive up to Pittsburgh. I was on my day off work resting and I had to drive up to Pittsburgh from Cincinnati to do trips. My friend that lives in Chicago have to drive 8 hours from Chicago to Minneapolis and he would be tired. Thank you for sharing the pros and cons of working with Greyhound. I also did trips to Nashville and now I do trucking jobs now.
I appreciate you getting these out fast you earned a sub for me

Hey love I just wanted to say thank you so much for this video it’s really inspired me to go out and get my class B license as I currently drive shuttles now and would love to operate a larger bus. Hi Cherish👋🏾 Thank you for such a detailed video on Greyhound and the onboarding process...there aren't many YT videos on the hiring, orientation process. They currently have a $10k sign on bonus out of NYC on Indeed. Having watched your video, I now feel confident as what to expect & will reapply with hopes of getting the job this time🙏🏾. It's the perfect job for someone living in a downtown boarding house. I don't want to go home! My jogging gear is always with me. Non-alcoholic beer has never tasted so good...I only drink real booze overseas now {✈️🍺🙃}. Interesting. I worked as a coach driver for Greyhound Australia for nine and a half years. I enjoyed the job, but it is a tough way to earn a living. I got made redundant with a heap of others during the Covid pandemic. I was happy about that because I was 76 years old and I was going to retire at 77 anyway. My runs were Brisbane to Toowoomba and return , twice a day, Brisbane to Noosa, Brisbane to Byron Bay . Mostly I did the Brisbane to Sydney run, stay overnight in a motel at Coffs Harbour and bring the Sydney to Brisbane coach back the next day. Unfortunately Greyhound have just had a very serious accident in Queensland. Three passengers dead and two critical, many others with serious injuries. There were 33 passengers on the coach.
I hope you go back to Greyhound. Trucking is nuts and dangerous. I traveled with them when I was younger. They were an excellent and professionally run company. Blessings to you in whatever field you choose. 🤗
I haven't even watched your video...but you and I talked before on another video, as I am a former driver of 14.5 years. Greyhound gave me a GOOD LIFE from 2006 until 2021. I have friends nationwide and loved it. They are now owned by Flixbus, which is initiating many changes that affect the way that company is being ran.

I remember working for Greyhound and Coach USA Illinois swallow lines. Trailways travel ways.. City Transit bus. School district Bus. And OTR. Eagle Express lines. USPS... Express. I really impress my trainers because I remember the time we was heading from Chicago and he told me to take the wheel and I drove her from Chicago back to Indianapolis with all those passengers on the bus and he was in the front and he was pyramid attention and he said I never had a driver like you before it's like you was born to drive he fell asleep until the time we got back to Indy he's hired. Does charter runs I love to charter runs. To casino trips. Money 💵💵💵💵💰. Yes I remember. Driving State to State. Deliver mail runs. But I remember Canada from Detroit to Canada my class was Charlotte NC. From the to D.C. To. Pittsburgh to Cleveland and Columbus back to Indy. But we graduated and we had so much going on doing 911 we had like 7 drivers on one bus and the rest of them was passengers and three foreigners that I believe I quote was getting off in front of the White House not good because they stopped on the side of the road and the driver said I can't let you off here we have to go to the terminal the guy said no my drive is going to make me here where is strange but he left a package on the bus and we had to get to DC and they called the police and FBI to see that was a bomb 💣 I was sitting right next to the sea I went up there and told the driver he left a package back there underneath the seat 💺
And how does Greyhound home time work if I want to be off 2 or 3 days???
