Great boat, I have the 10.4, put air bags in rear hatch and have a cover that I strap over the hatch. Still in a great vid.

Nice video. How is editing with the GoPro Max? I use Davinci Resolve. Based on your comments, I am guessing you would just recommend the Katana for Class III and lower? Seems like a great boat to do anything as long as you aren't hitting some pretty nasty stuff or really technical that requires a lot of maneuvering

The GoPro Max isn’t too bad for editing. It requires a little extra time deciding which angle you want showing. Once that is set, it is pretty straight forward. I would say the Katana is a solid class III boat that could handle an occasional class IV. It would definitely not be my go to for a class IV river. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I have the axis on hold.. no telling when it will actually arrive. I got it because most of the small rivers I kayak are not very fast. Mostly just class II or less.

John, I'm looking at a Katana 9.7 instead of the 10.4 and was wondering how tall you are and how's the fit. I'm 5'9" 170.

I’m 5’6”, 175. The foot braces in my boat can still be moved back a few notches. My intuition tells me you would fit, but since everyone’s bodies are shaped a little differently, I would definitely recommend you find one to sit in.
