He does and probably is. I had several opportunities to hang out with Joe in the Roundups we did, not sure if they're still doing them anymore???
Nice. I am always happy to hear you play Gretsch guitars. I think your playing suits them more than others. I hope you have a Gretsch of your own at home.

His go to ax is an old vintage red Tele
Gosh, look at those gorgeous amps‼️
Joe is so accessible and accommodating in person, he treats you like a pal! Great demo, thanks Greg!
Greg Koch : unbelievable , that man can play a guitar superb !!!!
I thought he had completely forgotten the sparkle green but nope, he shares that news with us at the very end of that video ;-)
Wow....just seen this today as I am looking into Gretsch a little deeper. this settles it. Getting one of these tone monsters soon. Thanks !!
Joe Carducci is one of my favorite players. Awesome skills!
gorgeous sounds
I love Joe, what a delightful man...
Terrific sounding instrument...love the Caddy colors too
Beautiful guitars Beautifully played Greg your incredible, I like the red
Lovely colour combo!
i just love how youre talking right at me lol
My Gosh that sounds amazing!!!!
LOVE the blue! love the two tone colors! and totally love the idea of a pinned bridge on a true hollow body - through the killer flamed maple all over it and this rivals my passion for the white and black falcons! TV Jones pick ups rock my world on my Falcons and my fav solid body - a tele carbonate. can't wait till one of these babys shows up at my local music store.

Very excellent demo!!!!!!!!!!
stunning guitar!!!!!
Holy crap Man! That thing will never heal up..............Great video.
I was never a Gretsch fan but these guitars are really hot and sound beautiful- I want that blue one
I got one of these . Holy shit are these things nice. Wow Brian knows what we wanted. Suped up and ready to go
Amazing.
Love to hear these Gretsch outakes with Greg - beautiful clean sound -IF you can play like Greg. But. I don't play the Mr Sandman type stuff so I won't be getting one😊. Still enjoy hearing it though!
I've seen hundreds of these videos (Yes, I have no life) but I think this guitar really sits better with Greg then any other guitar I've seen him play.
I want the blue one!
Dang,.... Wanted a hollow body for a while now but never really considered a Gretsch, but these sound wonderful and look sexy. Especially the blue one.
I like the Sperzel tuners like they used to use. I recently replaced my Shaller tuners on mine with Sperzel's. Don't worry, it has a neck break repair, so no loss in value. lol
If I could find that colour I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Cant bring myself to buy those crazy colours haha
thanks Greg for showing me the chords for Riviera Paradise at 1:20 by SRV "in step "CD song #10- my fav of all time. PLEASE play all of it sometime? My problem with Gretsch guitars? is I want them all!! prob get a duo jet but these sound great!!! My guitar teacher when I was 13 had an orange big Gretsch beauty and I have wanted one ever since.....oh well i still got me Strat and a cat or 3 LOVE watching Joey laugh!!!! I am out to see every u tube of them both:) just wish I could slow down the video speed. petty lick theft Gary ovr-n-out
It must have been a bet between these two rapscallions that they could get through a thirteen minute video without mentioning all the knobs that aren't there...Hahahaha. Well done gents.
Joe C. is such a cool dude!
I want them all
I think one afternoon with a Gretsch and Greg is over it. Back to his comfort zone
Late to the party here, but these are smoking guitars. Beautiful and toneful.
I want one.
Hot damn! Me wants!!
Nice
This is the one I'd most like to own and not because of Setzer but because of the simplicity.. one tone knob yet even though It's the easiest to wire it wil have the highest price point. I wish Gretsch would just make af affordable model with one knob because no one uses the tone knobs.
Getting a highland green on. You live once !
Ohhh Brother!
Man that an amazing sounding guitar how much do they go for

I was thinking of buying one of these, but now I've watched Greg play I'm considering giving up guitar instead
Insane playing. Im going to be getting a Gretsch within the next month and am losing sleep over having to choose between this and the Reverend Horton Heat model. Someone please give me some thoughts!

Haha, I did end up getting the Setzer model about 2 months ago! Orange Nitro Cellouse one. It's sick!!!
Anybody notice the THREE dumble heads in there? Sweet lordy.
Why can't my noodling sound like that? Bitching geetar picking! Awesome guitars, gotta git me one!
Why do the Brian Setzer 6120's come without the roller bridges? Is it because the adjustomatic style has better intonation? I thought the rollers created a smoother Bigsby action
@xodarap37

I have two Wildkats... one has a roller bridge, the other, the original tune-O-matic... both stay in tune, because the bridges themselves rock back and forth on their studs... I found that reducing the downward pressure on both bridges made them easier to play and stay in tune better...
Beautiful guitars! .....but, was that a stack of three Dumble's behind Greg?

HenningRuttenberg Could be four - that top head is also suspect.

HenningRuttenberg , The top amp is in fact a Dumble Overdrive Deluxe, and the bottom three are Overdrive Specials! We have some awesome videos in the queue of these amps! Stay tuned.

You've been promising that for awhile now, gents... Don't make me come down there to Louisville and eat at the Blue Parrot... no, wait. I wish I could do that.
Talk about playing on fire lol
It would be so cool if Greg could do a tutorial on sleepwalk. There isn't a good tutorial showing all the mechanics on KZread.

Watch videos of Setzer playing it, or pick up the brain setzer guitar book. What Greg plays is a close resemblance to how Setzer approaches Sleepwalk.
The cutaway is not deep enough. I want effortless access to the entirety of the 22nd fret from D to d.
Greg koch is awesome
Can I have one in dark black, so I can scoop out the mids and turn the gain up to 11 and totally de-tune it, whilst just playing on the low string only. Ummm.....

wouuuu!!!!
sorry...Riviera paradise is at 6:20 -see below
You'll throw in some Pete Townshend licks, a Lola lick, but I can't hear what it sounds like though one of those Holy Grail Dumbles behind you. You wound me, sir.
super guitars gretsch ,ppkit king
Just bought me a highland green one. I think I'm going to pass out
Greg can make anything sound good a 3000 dollar Gretsch or 300 dollar partscaster!
This or the Chet Atkins 62? This SOUNDS so much chunkier for rockabilly Danny Gatton type licks, and it might be the best looking guitar they've produced. But that neck heel is ginormous and the upper access looks limited.
@AdrianWhyte

Mark S if you haven't already decided I would consider the 62, more access, really awesome sound and see if you can get a jd serial (2004), beautiful guitars and a punchier tone than a typical 6120. That's my thoughts :) I nearly bought one a few years ago- search 2004 gretsch 6120 Dc and you'll see me demoing the one I should have bought!
that gretch dude is cool

I'm the first 'thumbs up', November 12, 2017, as I thought the same. Critical types. ; ] 'Prenence' is a new Gretsch feature. 'N' and 's' are a half-a-continent apart on the keyboard. Ha! Musta been using a 'smartphone'.
Anybody knows the name of 1:45 song?

Guitars/ fast cars and pretty girls !!!
In this particular video, kzread.info/dash/bejne/ppuVz62ho9SYqto.html, Tom of TV Jones describes the PUs as among his favourite designs. No doubt, a great config for this straight & to-the-point axe. The axe in itself sounds very clear, with very well defined tone, and almost explosively dynamic with overdrive (that nice compression!). Love it! Sadly, they are almost impossible to get, unless one takes a significant effort to obtain one (I have).

I was wondering why I commented that; then I watched it again and went 'Wooh, doggie ... tight Kocherie '.
dam auto correct - thats a Tele "cabronita" (not carbonate!)
So pathetic on my part, I haven't played the guitar in over 35 years, but I will be getting a 6120 Gretsch! It's just my favorite looking and sounding guitar. I guess I could justify it as an investment.
I wonder - are these made in the Terada factory in Japan or the Korean factories?

Fantastic Instruments !. Completely Ridiculous Playing !. Monstrous !. Just a little postscript !. All Guitars sound wonderful in the hands of a master, such as Greg. But, Not necessarily good with poor amplification. I for one, would be extremely interested in the equipment used in this demonstration. Surely this is of great importance to us, the listener, and Gretsch players etc. Please !, include this in future. Kindest Regards From Scotland.
lets go get some tats,baby
Ha Ha What a monster Greg is lol WTF..
Greg could sell me a wooden plank with some rubber bands on it for 3000$, because he would probably do some AMAZING stuff with it....I guess every wife hates that guy :)
chief cook an bottle washer .
Stray Cats
You look so much better now that you've lost some weight.
Greg's tone always seems thin.
That blueish and gray is butt ugly
Blah blah blah sales garbage. Anyone buying this guff?
