A standing ovation for a real talent! Go Gregg!

This is so cool! I love the fact that his voice is not what you expect by listening to him or hearing him speak! Counter-tenors are so cool! I love how they shatter stereotypes of what a "male" voice "should" sound like! It's unique, lovely, and quite difficult to do! That takes quite a bit of talent whether you're into that sound or not! Give the guy some credit! He is talented!

Greg's smile is unforgettable.

A Sopranist, a very rare gift and find. Britain should support him and help him train, he could be a worldwide phenomenon. Considering his original track didn't arrive(as he said to the press) and he only prepared nessun Dorma 3 days before audition, Greg must be very naturally gifted.

I completely agree! He is unique and talented! His speaking voice tells me he can cover many octaves. I hope his talent serves him well!

His voice is referred to as a counter tenor! One of the Righteous Brothers had a counter tenor voice! Great!

He is definitely not what people expect, which I think makes him even more unique and wonderful! He is truly different! His individuality is such a breath of fresh air too, because we already have too many performers that are a dime a dozen! He is definitely filled with a lot of raw talent! It seems like many commenters are being a bit hard on him about the lyrics being indistinguishable though, he has never really done anything like this before and so he was probably pretty nervous. There are not really a lot of male singers with a voice that high, so it was obvious that he was worried and unsure how the audience would take him! It seemed to me like his excitement worry and nervousness caused him to speed up the song, and so his anxiousness to get through it as fast as he could resulted in most of the lyrics being indistinguishable!

Dont be so naive - all the judges & presenters are well aware of what is coming before it happens.

This is the only classical music the gives me goosebumps everything i hear it. That's was an amazing performance and not expected. I love it when Simon doesn't know whst to say

this guy does some very awesome opera, genuine and increasingly dying out. world class!!!

I saw the video from TV show 2 days ago. I never thought that man can sing like that! His performance was superhuman! I mean he is best male soprano that I ever heard in my life! Totally fascinating!

A hundred years ago he would have been the toast of the town! Why Simon doesn't show this young man extreme respect for his talent is absurd!

Just for a frame of reference, this aria “Nessun Dorma” is the signature piece performance of Luciano Pavarotti. It’s Tenor in the key of G; G maj. scale to be specific. This dude not only hit it; he raised the Octave. Very few male voices can do that. Amazing.

Its definitely talent, very impressive vocal range. Unrefined, yes, but there is potential here.

Yes, it was a surprise to hear Greg's voice singing this aria. However, in the baroque, it would have been totally expected and admired. This was very funny too!

To those who claim that he's got 0 talent- I would love to see yourselves attempting to perform Nessum Dorma or any other opera piece and compare to Gregs performance... So much hatred, jealousy, negativity and plain idiotic posts- so sad. Only goes to show how much the present generation knows about opera, or rather-how little.

KZread and the web in general, became a place where nobody can state a FACT, never mind their "personal opinion", without being insulted, cursed out, called names-all those "brave" things which so many people do while hiding behind some "nickname". I know "first-hand"- 13 years ago I was young and naive to the point where MTV illegally got "private footage" -by "private" I don't mean "sexual" or "intimate" but the "drugs" parts. All of those "anonymous web judges" leveled me down to mud. But if I went to a mall (f.e.) even the employees of the stores would come out of their stores-in fact, people here in NYC sometimes ask me for my autograph...But the reaction of those anonymous web "dudes" is almost always negative, insulting, rude and straight-up DUMB.

IN the media (we owned everything from cable to print to NBC affiliates across the country) I have 'insider' knowledge about Trump that was never published, the reason not being important here, and have been uploaded EASILY verifiable FACTS about that sub-human, very low IQ monster of abuse, and have been called every name in the book, the two most frequently used are "You're just JEALOUS." Amazing singer and very cute, besides. There seem to be a lot of countertenors auditioning on these talent shows. Greg seems to be able to hit notes that even Art Garfunkel may not be able to sing. Very cool! Simon is a record producer. He ought to be able to recognize a countertenor when he hears one.

It isn't fake, it's avery rare gift, to have such a voice. Greg can become a global superstar, his type of voice is very much in demand, as there's only a few males that can sing that high.
