I remember watching him in surf movies that came to town in the mid 60's. As young teens we learned who all the "important surfers" were and both Mickey Dora and Greg Noll were on the list.
Great to hear Dora did some positive things before he did his last kickout

Greg Noll is such a beautiful human being. And he's made so many friends he never even met in his epic life. They call it mana in the islands. The stuff of the great chiefs.

I wonder how many sessions Miki ruined for others just trying to enjoy some rides? My dad has a few stories and some dings in his old Dewey Weber thanks to Miki. His Dewey Weber still has an original Fat/Da Cat Fin, which sell for a small fortune. Anyone know where to find old video of Surfs Up TV show? My dad was on it at least once Nd I'd love to see that and share!

I love how people who are the most racist call evertbody else a racist, and the ones who practice what the Nazi's did call everybody else Nazi's, like I said in the previous post it has no meaning anymore! It is used too loosely and about everything under the sun!
