Wayne Rich is a master surfboard shaper out of Santa Barbara, CA. He designed a 2+1 set using the curves of the infamous WR Power fin as the basis for the single fin and crafted a set of side bites to perfectly pair. It's not as common to design the 3 fins as a holistic set, so this is truly a unique combination set of fins. In this video, Wayne shares his perspective on the center fins placement in regards to the side fins. Allowing and messing with a "window" between the leading edge of the center fin and the trailing edge of the side bites is a key to getting the most out of the 2+1 setup.
