That 1964 Chevy Impala is the most famous Lowrider in the world. That is "Gypsy Rose". Look her up! Awesome haul you got here! I picked up the 64' Impala, 73' Cadillac Coupe Deville, and the Sedan one as well!

The reason that 64' Impala is so popular is that's based of the most famous lowrider, the "Gypsy Rose", that lowrider has toured around the world from Washington D.C. to Japan. It also gained mainstream appeal during its few seconds of fame in the opening sequence of the mid-'70s TV sitcom "Chico and the Man." Look up the vehicle, just as beautiful in real life as it is in 1:64 scale

Great addition to the collection! I got stuck with some awful windows and chipping, scaling paint on the Hitch & Tow 24 Gladiator...Mopar JT too. Watch out for it if you’re buying cases. The worst GL QC lapse i’ve ever seen.

Very cool sir👍🏻. I modified the rear end of the Ontario police college skid training vehicle in raising the back because i did some research and the rear axel was higher and the wheels stood out more.

I'm happy to see Greenlight make the Gypsy Rose Impala as the first car in their lowrider series. Truly epic!

Oh wow. Here's hoping we'll get a civilian version of the Taurus. That would be sweet. I'm waiting on the Wagoneer. I really dig the woodgrain. Still hoping GL will produce a Jeep Comanche. Shouldn't be that hard they already have the Cherokee castings. Is the 78 F-150 a 4x4? That's my 1 pet peeve with GL. I wish they would release more Ford 4x4's that aren't monster trucks. I have the Robocop tarus, its awesome, I also got the Santini jeep from Airwolf, a must for any movie/tv fan. I do fancy the Rocky caddy too, just dont have the dough just now. Low riders are just not my thing, the whole Japan craze for slamming them passes me by too, give me a stock ride high any day, but they are still nice cars, I am sure they will be popular.

Lowriders are amazing but the Ontario Police collage caprice classic.... omfg! I grew up in Paris Ontario and that exactly what they used for cop cars! absolutely boss! Got to find that... and the robo-cop futuristic tuarus ! I remember laughing so hard when I first saw those in the movie... so disappointed the future picked fords as cop cars...lol! 🏁🦫🏁

I have a different set of lowrider greenlight. They are nice. Love the paint job on them

I collect JL Greenlight M2 AW Hot Wheels Matchbox Ertl Tomica Corgi Maisto Yatming Road Champs and more. Always on the hunt for rare ones , open or sealed. Nice if you can flip for a good profit. Love to collect regardless. Some i don't care for the wheels per say, which puts me on the fence.

No, they are separately cast parts but do not open.

I have a question that I'm trying to find the answer for. What is the term for a diecast model that's lighter than the same model but the lighter model is meant to be looked at from a distance like on a shelf? I remember I watched a KZread Short on that but I can't find it or even remember the title or the person who uploaded it. If someone knows please let me know. Edit the lighter model is not meant to be fully functional.

You should try mailing the bad ones to Greenlight HQ any time you get a bad one, see what they do.

The Jeep in the MacGyver TV 📺 show is the Wagoner not the Cherokee why greenlight say it is the Cherokee the Jeep Cherokee in the show was a blue two door Cherokee Chief it was only in one Episode the rest of the first 1 though 4 he drove a gray 87 Jeep Wrangler.
